Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  6. Nice show guys. Vigna-Ghina just looks a little too dated for my tastes.

  7. The BD stuff keeps coming and they’re always nice. The NPD Leo truly is an ultimate army builder with all the options it gives, I’d definitely like to try a few.

I’m really just so happy about the Vigna Ghina, such a beautiful MS finally getting a modern kit like it deserves. The lack of a trigger finger is very disappointing, but asides from that, i’m very happy with this release.

  11. 00 Diver is less expensive than Leo NPD. Does that mean Bandai wants us to build a 00 army? If so, someone should tell they they’re a little late to the party: look at Prime92’s Exia army.

Also, yay I won a RNG draw!

Sorry, I had to post this cause I was laughing when I heard about the shoulders.

  24. We have a Leo in HG, but still no Tallgeese. And for those who are going to correct me: I know there was a HG Tallgeese back in the 90’s, but technically that one doesn’t count. I’m talking about the present. Bandai has the technology. They can make it. It would sell faster than the actual Tallgeese can fly.

  26. Gundam Build Divers has been enjoyable so far, and the MS designs are pretty cool

  27. There needs to be more F91 stories to continue/finish what the movie introduced and how it lead to the Crossbones manga stories. It would lead to new model kits to buy/bash.

  28. I didn’t realize how much of a generational gap there was with Todd.

    Reply
    • Given he doesn’t seem to know much about Gundam outside the model kits at all, it’s quite a shock. I’d have imagined at least someone like him would have been drawn to some of the 90s shows. In fact, if anything really shows how huge a gap there is, he’s a massive fan of He-Man and the Go-Bots.

  29. As a design major I just wanted to make a pointer for the YouTube thumbnails. The all white title isn’t very eye catching. Throwing some color in there would help draw the eye to the videos and likely draw more views.

  30. My wallet hates hlj sales. I always try to pass on them but I fail miserably. Those 2000 yen would appease its rage… *innocent face*

    • Ah, at least you aren’t caught up by the likes of Steam Sales then… those things are legendary for murdering even the most full of wallets =O

  35. I just finished watching gundam the origin and if there is one series to watch out of any ever, it’s that one. It perfectly sets up everything we, and especially myself, love about gundam.

  37. So I’m not the only one to buy stuff because I found it cute/nice/cool/or on the pretext that I need for its functionality?

    Reply
    • You wouldn’t be the first. I bought a lot of my sets because I thought they were cool or cute looking. That said, stuff like the Gundam 00 Shia QAN[T] I absolutely adored until I found just how horrifyingly fragile those clear plastic joints were >.< It upset me when they broke with very little pressure.

  38. Great episode for content – just a few quick points:
    – The Ghirarga is from Gundam AGE, not Gundam 00.
    – Ptolemaios is pronounced ‘Put-ol-may-os’. Sorry Lindsay, but you most definitely pronounce the ‘P’.
    – RWBY comes from BOTH the names and the colours. Ruby is primarily red, Weiss is white, Blake is black, and Yang is yellow. Naming the characters after colours is a tradition in the world RWBY is set in.

Now that that is out of the way, I have to agree, the summer sale is a little short on decent deals this time around, I’d be definitely buying more if I could afford it! 2000JPY would be a nice start! Been trying to build custom Gunpla for a very long time, and the UK is very expensive to import to!

  41. I’ve saw a different video on the Vighna Ghina size comparison with a HG Quel and a Hazel. Is this RE/100 the size of a 1/144 scale kit?

  43. Lovely episode as always. 😊💕 You said that you watched Gundam, do you watch anime now and what figures are most excited for?

  44. RWBY is pronounced Ruby. Am I the only or someone at Bandai was thinking of a certain part of the female anatomy (keeping it PG rated 😉 ) when they named it Vigna-Ghina?
