Gunpla TV – Core Gundam PLANETS System Configurations

Although the series began in 2019, we’ve yet to take a good look at the new kits from “Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise,” and that changes today! We’ve got not just one, but four kits to review, all belonging to the PLANETS system of interchangeable builds. Today, we’re exploring the Earthree, Veetwo, Marsfour, and Jupitive Gundams all together!

In this episode:
1/144 HDBD:R Earthree Gundam
1/144 HDBD:R Core Gundam (G3 Color) & Veetwo Unit
1/144 HDBD:R Veetwo Weapons
1/144 HDBD:R Core Gundam (Real Type Color) & Marsfour Unit
1/144 HDBD:R Marsfour Weapons
1/144 HGBD:R Jupitive Gundam

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Core Gundams as a concept is a nice addition to Gunpla. The fact that you get a small unit that isnt an SD as well as a descent looking vehicle that merge into a regular sized Gundam just give these kits loads of options. Love that all the kits that come with a Core unit have some colour variants to them. Looking forwards to more Core Gundam designs.

  3. Now everyone waits with baited breath to see how Bandai weighs in on the greatest cosmology debate in recent years.

Will Pluto be considered worthy of a Planet system?

  4. I like it when you say that Bandai wants us to buy the extra packs. What else should they want, if not selling these?

    • I don’t think there was any mobile suit like that in Season 1 of Gundam Build Divers RE: Rise. Maybe in Season 2?

  6. Of these, I might get the Marsfour (it’s Wolverine-ing), and the Jupitive (the most versatile unit).

  7. I think it is very greedy and sneaky for Bandai to split up the HGs and not include everything.
But that’s to ‘encourage’ people to buy multiples.

I’m just actually waiting for more RGs from the ‘Build’ series since they haven’t done most of them from the previous ‘Build’ series.
Whenever Bandai get to doing the RGs from Build Divers RE Rise (Season 1 & Season 2), I hope they include all the parts and not sell them separately.
Though I do see the possibility of them selling many of the variants as P-Bandai full kits and P-Bandai add on sets. 🤦‍♂️

  8. The Core Gudnams look great with a cool gimmick but I don’t like that the weapons are sold separately. Have the kits be a few dollars/yen more and that would save on kit box cardboard, shipping cost, and a headache to be sure the right kit has the right weapons with it.

  9. Nothing too impressive here, but they make for a good display once they are in their “full” Gundam form.

  12. Core Gundams look interesting as a concept, keen to see where they take it. I can definitely see potential for crossovers with other series, that would be amazing!!
