Hello, everyone! Today I have something pretty simple to show, but something very, very helpful! Today I’d like to show you the Sugot! Parts Separator Tool by Doyusha.
Hey everyone! So, last time I showed off an idea I had about giving a mirror look to a Gunpla kit using the PPC-Kn61 model cover. Well, as you may have noted, that isn’t the intended purpose of that product. I […]
Oh wow, that is pretty nice to see. Yeah, they are a bit too thick here and there, but really it’s to get the idea of something one could do, just an experiment. Thanks for the share for those links tho, be happy to check them out.
Hey everyone! Today I’ve got something pretty cool to show you. So, while browsing HLJ, I came across this nifty little thing: the Model Cover Base Mirror (Square) by Hobby Base.

Hello everyone! It’s that time again for another showcase! Tutorial? Something like that. Anyhow, today we are looking at the Small Cutter A Plus and the Hobby Rotary Cutter by OFLA.
Let’s start with a question: what do you know about sanding? You know, removing nubs and stuff. Something you wouldn’t associate with sanding is, well, sponges. And that is what we […]
I’ve been really interested in these figures for years. Thank you so much for sharing this, its very very informative! So a couple of questions.
What type of material would you recommend to make clothes for them?
Do the joints ever start to ware or loose?
and, what is the market like for these figures outside of Japan? Like I’d love to have a…[Read more]
Hello, and welcome! So today, I have a question to ask you: How many times has this happened to you? — You are putting your model or figure into a cool pose and then BOOM. A limb pops off, or it starts to […]
Hello all! I hope you enjoyed my previous look at the Moderoid Gurren Lagann from Good Smile Company. If you haven’t seen that post, please feel free to take a look then pop back here.

I’m in two minds about weathering. Yes, it adds a cool bit of realism in dioramas and such, but for kits just on a shelf… I dunno. This does look easy though, might give them a go after all.
Thanks for this tutorial. Please bring more of these tools and how to articles, maybe even videos. I’m going to try these sticks and I’ve just ordered them. Unfortunately, these sticks look a bit bulky and I wonder if you can add details to small parts (photo with the weapon where the stick has nearly the same size). Do the sticks offer the possibility to transfer the weathering powder to brushes/sponges to apply them or should the good old weathering kit be used for this purpose?

These are amazing tools.
Sorry for the late reply, but about the tutorials — we recently brought on several new writers just for this, so you can expect to see more and more tutorial content 🙂 We’re not quite where we want to be to be able to do videos yet, but that’s also something we’re hoping to move back into in the future.
So, I had a bit of a problem. Opening my figma Gridman, he wasn’t connected at the waist. I tried pushing the ball joint into the socket, but it would just pop right out. So what to d […]
Yes, just know you would have a lot of empty space above it.
