Gunpla TV – Demon Slayer Kimetsu Model: Tanjiro Kamado

Dave takes a look at a really superb model kit figure: it’s Tanjiro Kamado from popular anime Demon Slayer! With fantastic multi layer injection technology, Tanjiro’s eyes and face are amazingly detailed for a kit. Once assembled, he will stand in a dynamic battle pose, gripping his nichirin sword as he faces off against the enemy. Take a closer look at this really simple, and yet very awesome kit!

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Beautifully detailed and such a cool pose, really feels like he’s just popped out of the anime! Pretty sure it’s inevitable that we get a Nezuko one to accompany him!

  2. I’m wonder why some Bandai products are made in China. I know that the HiRM model kits are made in China partially. I think it’s the inner frame that’s made in China. Apparently this kit is made in China as mentioned at the 2:57 mark.
Is there a chance that we’ll get more higher quality model kits for Demon Slayer? Maybe through the Figure-Rise Standard lineup? I mean the series is clearly a huge international success and very popular. I think it would make sense.
