Toy Tengoku Episode 110 – ARTFX J Green with Squirtle

Kotobukiya is back with more classic Pokemon fun with their ARTFX J figure featuring Green and Squirtle from “Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen”! All of the figures in this lineup are based on illustrations by popular Pokemon artist Hitoshi Ariga, so you can really feel that nostalgic gut punch when you view Green with her starter of choice. Join us as we take a close-up look at the figure, and let us know which starter you would pick from Gen 1!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  2. Love Pikachu as my fav starter! But if that’s excluded, then Squirtle! Nice looking figure, simple design, but really well sculpted!

  3. Wouldn’t it have made more sense for Green to have chosen Bulbasaur? I know Squirtle matches her colours better and makes the figure more cohesive, but still…

  5. We can all argue whats the best starter type forever, but i think we can all agree that the grass type is the worst

  6. It’s almost a toss up between Charmander and Squirtle but I gotta go with Squirtle! First form is cute, final form is cool! Green (‘Blue’, really) looks great with Squirtle here! Definitely would be an awesome addition to a figure collection. 😉
