Though in early development, it’s been announced that a brand new live-action “Pokemon” series is currently being worked on by Netflix! I’ll make it clear right away that not much is known about the series yet, but we have a few crumbs of information to offer about this exciting new development!
Joe Henderson is on paper as the one in charge to both write and executive produce, and some Netflix watchers may know him from the Netflix original “Lucifer” that has seen some popular traction! Sources have been quoted saying it’ll be similar to the “Detective Pikachu” movie, which one can assume means the style of the CG involved.
Netflix seems to be hoping on the live-action anime adaption train, with this “Pokemon” newest announcement being alongside their “Cowboy Bebop” and “One Piece” adaption announcements. We hope they’ll do our precious little Pokes justice!
