There are only a few releases this week, and no Gunpla – but there are still some great new items to take a look at! A new commander joins the Girl Gun Lady lineup, plus we’ve got Kamen Rider, Votoms kits, and new Gundam decals. On top of that, VIC Hobby rolls out two new mecha-specific acrylic paint sets that are sure to spice up your next Gunpla build!

Girl Gun Lady
Bandai brings us an exciting lineup of kits based on the special-effects drama “Girl Gun Lady”! Commander Amatsu is fully posable after assembly, and comes with three expression parts that bring out her personality from the show. A stand for display is included too.
Kamen Rider
Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider Agito Ground Form
Kamen Rider Agito finally makes his way to the Figure-rise Standard lineup in his Ground Form! The kit features plated parts to thoroughly recreate the golden texture of his suit. He’s poseable upon completion and features a wide range of motion so you can recreate a variety of action poses such as the “Rider Kick”!
The “cross horn” can be recreated with optional parts, and the kit also comes with three types of hand parts, and the “Agito’s Crest” effect part.

1/35 Blood Sucker (PS version)
The “Bloodsucker (PS Version)”, which has been out of stock for a long time, just got a re-release in response to popular demand from Wave! As before, the kit is a snap-fit type that requires no adhesive, and each joint is articulated. As this is the PS version, the interior of the cockpit and the landing mechanism have been replicated in scale.
Choi-Pla Scope Dog Melquiya Army Color
Introducing the newest from the Choi-Pla line: the Scope Dog in a Melquiya Army color! This purple robo can be displayed with the cockpit hatch open or closed – or completely removed. Some parts are movable, as well. It comes on 4 runners in 50 parts in a single purple color, so paint will be required for more extensive details.

VIC Hobby
Two new mecha-specific acrylic paint sets are here from VIC Hobby! This semi-glossy paint has no odor, and due to its self-leveling properties, visible brushstrokes won’t be a problem. Brushes and other tools can be washed with tap water, as no special diluting liquid is needed; these paints can also be used in an airbrush (the manufacturer recommends using a diluting solution for airbrush use).
