Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  2. I believe Bandai has made some changes on the Figure-riseLABO Fumina Hoshino (The Second Scene) such as removing the gates on the legs to make them look better.

  3. “Noir” is the french word for “Black”. So Gundam Astray Noir means nothing else than Black Astray Gundam. But boy, what a coincidence, I also broke the blade of one of my nippers (GIC Sharp Pointed Side Cutter) yesterday with the Narrative Gundam. The white parts of this kit are very stiff and difficult to cut through the gates, but hey I like it since it gives this kit a superior quality. RIP my beloved nipper. You may try now the 3peaks MK-II since this is also a fantastic nipper (in my opinion much better than the expensive GH).

  7. Honestly thinking about picking up an Alex but want it to be more of a display piece in a pretty simple pose from episode 4 so honestly not sure if I should pick up the old or the new since it shouldn’t really need anything fancy.

  8. Interesting that the MG RX-78NT-1 Gundam “Alex” (Ver 2.0) has that greyish purple plastic parts that was used often in many old school GunPla. Are those reusing parts from the original or are those parts newly molded but just colored that way?

  15. I wonder if Bandai will make a HG alex that includes the armor with the faceplate. I’ve always liked that ever since I first saw it on the vintage SD Alex kit

  16. Those 30MM kits still conflict me. They look cool, but they also seem too simple to sate my plamo hunger

  18. Really want to get the MG Gundam Alex 2.0. I wonder if they’ll ever make anymore of the Figurise Labo models of other Gundam characters aside from Fumina from Build Fighters Try?

  27. The layed plastic for tone and shading on the Figurise Labo is great. It’s just a damn shame that Bandai only use it for dubiously aged thus arguably creepy Waifu kits…
