Phew… Looking at some gameplay footage, I can see why these kits are so pricey. These were made for the otaku-est of otaku, which you’d certainly have to be to want model kits from this game.

This is screaming for four partner units that it can combine with Super Sentai style.

Any chance you’ll ever get into collectible drink coasters, too? I got a Macross one as a random Ichiban Kuji prize, and lemme tell you, it’s a damn fine drink coaster.

So at conventions in the US, media folk (or just convention-goers in general) will sometimes receive random, innocuous gifts from vendors or the like. Does that same thing happen at these hobby conventions? What sort of odd clear files, drink coasters, etc., do you sometimes receive at these places?

I feel like someone is already getting it into their mind to put an SD kit up on that phoenix armor thing. Maybe they’ll call it the Phoenix King or something. Some goofy looking Musha Gundam trying to look super serious atop its equally goofy looking steed.

I can’t wait until someone hollows out those PS1/Saturn kits and makes retro consoles out of them…

I often wonder what it would be like walking up and down the aisles seeing what cool weird thing awaits around the next bend.

Bandai always be putting more effort into third-party IPs than Gundam, it seems. I wholeheartedly approve.
