This week we take a look at two mythological kits, the Phenex and Leo! From the new series “Gundam Narrative”, the Phenex is armed and dangerous with its Destroy Mode activated and new tails on the shields! The Leo NPD from Gundam Build Divers shows that it is heads and shoulders above the previous Leo release by containing not one, not two but four head and shoulder options! We also take a quick look at the new SD Gundam Cross Silhouette which has just arrived!

As much as I love those fancy Destroy Mode Unicorn kits, I wish they improved something over the original instead of just being remolds of a 2009 kit that didn’t have good articulation when it came out in the first place -sad face-

That Leo reminds me of the starter LBX in Danball Senki Wars. I wish bandai didnt drop that series so fast the Hyper Function kits were so much fun and they had inner frames!

Phenex looks saturated the wrong colour. Lots of people will paint it. I see lots of Leo armies coming.
Of the new announced kit I might get the Nanami kit, 00 Higher Sky, and maybe the Jegan Blastmaster. I’m still looking for the new Seravee for a more reasonable price because I like the Ptolemy.

Actually, the NPD version’s colours would be similar to the Leo Space Type. So it technically wouldn’t be ‘not Wing accurate colours’.

Hello, Usually i’m not into golden shiny kits, but i have to admit the phenex looks really cool. As Todd said, it would be so cool to have some world of warcraft zeppelin kit or figure.. But i guess that would be cool too if we could have more blizzard figures for diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 and the most important.. Could you imagine cool units like starcraft’s siege tank, the battlecruiser, maybe a thor.. or some protoss units brought to model kits… Wouldn’t they look just great ?

The Leo is such a great kit. going to get that Divers one and just build a space type leo (colours are almost identical). the extra parts can be used as busted suits floating around in space after the OG leo tore them apart.

Im kind of suprised they choose a crossbone for the initial wave of silloute frames. isusally the series doesnt seem to be too important to bandai with many of the coolest suits being pbandai.
I hope they make more non pbandai releases so i can buy them on hlj!
