Aika Aikawa from Alice Gear Aegis joins the Megami Device line! This kit is impressive, with amazing articulation on both weapons and Aika herself.
These smaller robo-girl kits have great stability even if they have massive hammers! There is a reason to all of this: Kotobukiya has started using new hands to allow for smaller mecha girls to hold massive weapons — specialized, stiff hands that really grip the accessories.
As part of the Megami Device series, the model consists of the base “machineca” body designed by Masaki Apsy and a variety of unique armor and weapon parts. This model utilizes a new short version of the machineca to match the original character design, and is now the shortest design in the Megami Device series. And it really works; the proportions are amazing. Check this review out and hope that Kotobukiya keeps this going!
Unfortunately, Aika is discontinued at the time of this writing. But, you can still check out similar kits from Kotobukiya, or see the details of this kit at its product page!

Cute and deadly is what she is! What a pretty kit, I do like her unarmoured form and she looks so delicate yet massive with that hammer and all the mecha parts! Really want her to get reissued so I can pick one up!

The hammer is what really sold me on this kit, I mean just look at that thing! Looking forward to building her and adding to the rest of my Megami/Aegis crew.
I am however disappointed with the amount of decals the kit comes with, or rather lack of them, all those nice beige details on leg sections and lower arms need to be painted, if you’re a experienced modeler/painter that is obviously no biggie but for straight builders might be a bit of trouble.
I find the lack of decals rather strange, given how the Bullet Knight comes with a ridiculous amount of them (and Hell Blaze version with additional stickers to boot) and they are more or less in the same price range

I like all the items and the effect parts it comes with.
