Tamashii Nations Summer Collection 2015

The HLJ team took a trip to Akihabara over the last weekend in May for two great events–the first was Bandai’s Tamashii Nations Summer Collection 2015!

One of the biggest highlights of the event was this gorgeous beast–the Metal Build Strike Freedom Gundam!

Also from the Metal Build series were the Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina -Sky Declaration-, and the Gundam Astray Red Frame and Blue Frame.

From Bandai’s Robot Damashii line of mecha figures, we got to see the upcoming (SIDE MS) Providence Gundam, (SIDE MS) Freedom Gundam, (SIDE MS) Strike Rouge Aile Striker, (SIDE MS) Justice Gundam, and the (SIDE MS) Gunbarrel Striker!

Check out all of these new versions of the Robot Damashii (SIDE MS) G-Self Gundam–including the G-Self Space Backpack, High Torque Pack, Assault Pack and the Tricky Pack!

Even more Robot Damashii action!

And we can’t forget Bandai’s NXEDGE STYLE line, with more mecha on the way than you can count!

Bandai’s bringing the Sandtrooper to their “Star Wars” Movie Realization series, and he looks amazing! S.H.Figuarts Luke Skywalker was there as well, and it was great to see it in person for the first time!

New “Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold” figures are on the way, and they look stunning!

And don’t miss the rest of the “Saint Seiya” figures from Bandai’s Saint Cloth Myth line!

Bandai’s Figuarts lineup didn’t disappoint, with new Figuarts ZERO “Sailor Moon Crystal” and “Dragonball” figures, and the newest S.H.Figuarts from “Sailor Moon”, “Pretty Cure”, “Cardcaptor Sakura”, “Kamen Rider”, and “Super Mario Brothers”!

There are tons of new Dragonball Tamashii Buddies coming at us soon, so be on the lookout for your favorite characters!

Before we left, we got a close-up look at the recently released Chogokin Hello Kitty, and were blown away at how big she is in person!

Next up is the Mega Hobby Expo 2015 Spring event, so get ready for more figure news soon!

  1. Too many action figure in so little time. Bandai sure has lots of money to produce all of them in a year time

  2. Great coverage! I’ve also seen photos where the SH Figuarts Avengers figures were shown. Do you guys at HLJ know if pre-orders for Hulk, Luke Skywalker, etc might open again?

  3. That is one bad-ass Darth Vader.
