New Plamo Arrivals For April 22, 2022

It’s a good week for mecha! This week’s new plamo arrivals include Hexa Gear, Ling Cage, Dragonar, and Daitarn! Soul Vogue also presents Fire Shadow, an original robot kit in two different versions, and Bandai brings a new Kamen Rider Figure-rise kit. See it all below!

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Hexa Gear

Hexa Gear Governor Queen’s Guard

Gear up your “Hexa Gear” collection for the newest Governor from the series – Queen’s Guard! The parts other than the wrist are completely newly designed. A hybrid model incorporating joint structures from other models, such as WARMAGE, with a hip joint that can hold larger weapons, neck joints that can articulate front and back, and axial joint structures of the ankle are all featured. The ‘Criminal Buster’ can be folded in the center and includes a telescoping feature at the base that can act as a pile bunker. It can also divide at the center, allowing you to disconnect the parts.

Kamen Rider

Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider Ghost Ore Damashii

Kamen Rider Ghost Ore Soul from “Kamen Rider Ghost” joins the Figure-rise Standard model-kit lineup from Bandai! His characteristic hoodie is carefully reproduced, as are the precise lines of his body; the Ghost Driver is made with clear parts. Combine the Transient Form with the Ore Ghost parts to enter the Ore Soul state! Various interchangeable hands are included, and his Gun Gun Saver comes with one blade mode and one gun mode. Parts to equip him with the Neo Decadriver are included, as is a base for display.

Ling Cage: Incarnation

The powered suit Mu-2 Type Heavy, developed to fight the mysterious enemy Shogoku Beast from the near-future science fiction anime “Ling Cage: Incarnation” is now available in model kit form, each kit building a different version!

Soul Vogue Original

Fire Shadow

SOUL VOGUE presents their original plastic model kit of the mecha rightly named Fire Shadow! Not only does it boast a vivid color scheme but it’s equipped with a beam saber, beam rifle and shield – while also being able to transform into flight mode with ease. A set of external armor will be included as a first preorder bonus. A deluxe and normal version are available; the normal version comes completely unassembled.

Dragonar

Dragonar Set 1

From “Dragonar” comes a set of kits from Bandai! This set includes the Dragnar 2 Lifter Equipped Type, Dragnar 3 Lifter Equipped Type, Dain, and Drau, all with new molding colors. The set also comes with a variety of weapons, including a rocket launcher!

Dragonar Set 2

From “Dragonar” comes a set of kits from Bandai! The Guelph kit can be recreated in three types by rearranging and combing parts: Guelph, Yakut Guelph, and Levi Guelph.

Daitarn 3

SMP (SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT)

The legendary “Invincible Steel Man Daitarn 3,” broadcast from 1978 to 1979, gets a new SMP (Shokugan Modeling Project) model kit from Bandai! This group of three randomly packed model kits builds into three parts of Daitarn 3 — his head and arms, his torso and backpack and his legs — which can also transform the Dai Fighter and Dai Tank when completed. Interchangeable hands for reproducing the Sun Attack and various weapons are also included, as is a piece of soda-flavored gum.

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.
