Gunpla TV – Mecha Girl Double Feature – Shitara Kaneshiya & Stylet XF-3

Today, we take on Megami Device and Frame Arms Girl in a double review! From Kotobukiya, we have the second collaboration between the Megami Device armored girl figure-kit series, and the “Alice Gear Aegis” mobile phone game — Shitara Kaneshiya! In addition, Frame Arms Girl Stylet has been updated from her previous release, and we’re taking a look to see what’s changed.

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Wow, would ya look at that?

  2. I like the representation at least the first girl is a brown skin.

  3. I don’t like this kind of kits. It’s like they throw a bunch of weapon-like accesories over cute teenage girls without any sense of design or style. Easy pass.

  4. Kaede’s got a pretty balanced weapons loadout, although her long canon can be a bit heavy. The new black version that’s coming out seems to include an odachi with a chrome blade, so maybe those who didn’t get the first one will want that one.

As for Shitara, she’s got a bouncy and energetic personality in the game. Being one of the shorter Actresses doesn’t slow her down at all, as she likes to dance in place.

You can redeem the codes that come with Kaede, SOL Raptor, and I’m guessing Shitara easily enough. But you can’t get the game through Google Play if you’re not in Japan. There’s a different app for that.
