Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  16. Why don’t more games get kit versions? with the upcoming revision of FFVII what are the chances of some plamo?
Another game I would have liked to see in kit form was Horizon Zero Dawn, those Mecha looked like they had Gunpla parts.

    Reply
    • Well that remake version of Final Fantasy VII will come out whenever it does.
There hasn’t been any info, leaks, etc at all for quite a while.

Horizon Zero Dawn plamo would be cool, but it’s not an anime/manga and the licensing rights might not make it worth it; especially given that Bandai’s licenses as is and product line ups as is are already vastly profitable.
Was the game even popular in Japan?
If it wasn’t popular then it’s not likely Bandai would even make plamo for it.

      • Yes your right, its just wishfull thinking on my part. While we awaite news on the remake their is the Switch release of VII on the 26th which I am considering and check out my media for my Chocobo Char concept which im building.

  21. I recently ordered the Sergent Keroro set on HLJ. I was scrolling through the newly released section and stumbled upon that rediculous design and I just had to build it and display it on my shelf. Do you guys remember the Sergeant Frog fighting game that came out on the PS2 in Japan? It had a bunch of gundam items and weapons that you could pick up on the field. 😊

The more you promote the glorious merchandise of the Keroro Platoon, the closer they come to conquering us all!

That or the funds will just be funneled into buying more Gunpla.

  31. The new head on the Arbalest looks more like the one in the anime, old one is from the manga. Overall it looks like an amazing kit with very nice details. Would love to see if they also make the Codarl Arm Slaves

  34. Bandai does such a great job with mecha plamo even outside of gunpla. I hope they make a deal with Rooster Teeth to make plamo of the holons from ‘gen:LOCK!’

  39. You should watch Fullmetal Panic, Todd. You and your girlfriend would love. You for the mechs and fights, her for the romance and comedy. I love the franchise and love it since the early-2000’s….. Yeah, the series is that old.

  44. The Arbalest has the best flight pack I have seen on a kit.

    Reply
  45. Hello, that arbalest with flight pack looks just great… The Yamato 18mm cannon turret looks awesome too. But, I also saw some of the Bandai 30 minutes mission kits… What is the difference with HG gunplas? Are they compatible for custom ? Because it looks just like they were made for it ! And the options packs looks good too.. Would like to see a Comparison with thr hg and/or a Review of those.. or maybe a “tutorial” about how they really do work…

  50. I love how the comment section turned into what franchise bandai should make model kits for next.

I mostly want to see more mechanized digimon redesignes like they did with omnimon/omegamon.

  51. That Sergeant Keroro gunpla is sooooo cute!!

  53. I saw the Keroro robo kits at C3AFA HK in real, they look like really fun kits!

    Reply
  54. So the Keroro kits is basically the same as the old ones, but combined with the characters in the box instead of being sold separately. I think instead of just remaking them, Bandai should have made a 2.0 Version.

  55. Love watching but my wallet does not because of the massive backlog of kits I have to build but wants a few more
