This week, Bandai brings us the awaited Entry Grade RX-78 (now with accessories), plus new 30 Minutes Missions! But on top of that, we’ve also got some ridiculous sushi plamo and a few reissues of very popular kits from the recent past!
If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!
The RX-78-2 Gundam is now available with gun & shield in the Entry Grade series! The Entry Grade line is as beginner-friendly as always and is a great, fun build for experienced Gunpla builders. It uses a small number of parts despite having elaborate details and movement.
30 Minutes Missions
The United Earth Forces eEXM-21 Raviot in the 30MM line appears in an earthy green! A C-type joint structure was added to the exterior for all-new customization options!
The Ciel Nova is now available in black for even more customization options! Massive legs, long forearms and a backpack that can be extended upwards are just some of the features of this figure. It boasts an extendable joint mechanism, too! Chest parts for the commanding aircraft, special forces and close combat optional armor are linked to the Porta Nova unit.
Can you handle putting together plastic model kits of a piece of sushi? Each grain of rice is a separate part, so grab your tweezers and get stacking! Or, if you’re brave enough, put it together in the palm of your hand! The packaging also looks like an authentic box of sushi. Glue is required for these kits, but they can be assembled without paint.
The popular KONAMI “Twinbee” plastic kit is ready for a renewal! The clear yellow of the canopy part has been made more transparent, and the parts have been improved to make assembly easier. You can pose Twinbee in all sorts of fun ways! It also comes with a hammer and a handgun, adding to the diverse amount of display options for Twinbee! It’ll be approximately 10cm when assembled.
The Mazinkaiser MODEROID is back! The plastic model is made in cooperation with Sentinel, making use of the original sculpt of the RIOBOT Mazinkaiser and making slight changes while converting the design into a plastic model kit, allowing for Mazinkaiser to come back once again in an all-new form for fans to enjoy building and displaying in their collection.
The newest addition to Wave’s VOTOMS line is the ST Version of the Standing Tortoise MK.II! The first in the Turtle and Tortoise series to debut is the MK.II, a space battle version of the Gilgamesh military-issue heavyweight AT Standing Tortoise MK.II. The kit is a snap-fit type that does not require glue as in the previous series, and is a fully articulated model with poly caps on each joint. The distinctive shoulder missile pods and the voluminous missile launcher are also included.
Check out the new sci-fi plastic model kit in a 1/2 scale, the Choi-Pla Smart Daughter eos — in white or black versions! These adorable injection plastic kits feature both metallic and clear parts for a fun look.
It’s back! From “Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion” comes a plastic model of Shinkalion N700A Nozomi! The mecha has been brought to life while preserving its unique appearance from the show. It features fully articulated joints, and both Normal mode and Advanced mode can be recreated through rearrangement of parts. The Makuragi Nunchucks and Aero Double Smash parts are included. The Dragon Knuckle can be attached to the model.
*This model is meant for display in Shinkalion mode. The model cannot be transformed into Shinkansen mode.
