King Exkaiser is all put together. Let’s see how the transformation and combination work!

No more than a simple pair of plastic nippers is required to put it together.

Let’s see how it gets to its final form. It all begins with a little car.

And then out of no where, a huge trailer arrives! Where have we seen that before?

The car can transform into a small robot. It’s a very good look for something this simple.

But all you actually need for the combination is just the parts you see here.

Front and back shots after the obligatory gattai scene.

The elbows can bend 90°. The legs? Since this is a combined kit, as you might expect the less said, the better!

There’s an impressive amount of distinct colors in the head and chest area.

It comes with a few weapons as well.

For posing there aren’t too many options, but this one sure looks simple and good to me!

And you can recreate the cover art pose as well.

Regarding height, it easily overpowers SD Unicorn Gundam even in destroy mode.

For super robots though, it’s a much more even battle.

Some final thoughts. I’m really impressed by this kit thanks to its fun gimmicks. I was quite impressed by GaoGaigar before this, but here Kotobukiya has done a great job on the transformation of both the car and the trailer. The robot mode really is quite incredible when you consider the size of the car. And of course, it looks good when it’s put all together. The engineering lets it stay together quite well, too. While the anime might not be that famous, all things considered, this is a nice blast back to the 90s. Finally, for the kit itself, it’s a fun build, fun to transform, and great to show it off together with Gaogaigar! Thank for checking this out.
