Gunpla TV – Episode 369 – New Arrivals For July 22nd

With Todd out of the office today, Evan and Aska team up to present the latest releases for the week! Bandai has rolled out a new HG Gundam TRY AGE, some exciting Pokemon Plamo kits, and more.

We’re pleased to present this episode Wednesday (not the usual Friday), because we’ve got a four-day weekend this week! But don’t worry — we’ve got plenty of hobby goodness lined up for you at the usual time for the rest of the week. 🙂

In this episode:
1/144 HGBD:R Gundam TRY AGE Magnum
Pokemon Plamo Collection No.44 Select Series Riolu & Lucario
Pokemon Plamo Collection No.43 Select Series Charizard (Battle Ver.) & Dragonite VS Set
1/300 HG Gransaurer
Thousand Sunny Wano Country Ver.

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  2. Nice to see a good mix of non-Gundam stuff here! The Pokemon stuff looks interesting, great for beginners for sure, feels funny having stickers for “live” kits though, haha 😛

  4. The AGE-TRYMAG Gundam TRYAGE Magnum looks great! I am glad that Kyoya Kujo is coming back to the anime.

I still hope that Bandai eventually makes the rest of the MGs from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE and also makes RGs from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.
In regards to making RGs I suspect they could make the ‘Normal’ version of each, and sell the variants as a separate add on set (similar to what they’re doing with the HG Build Divers RE Rise series).
It would keep costs low and ‘encourage’ people to buy multiples of the ‘Norma’ versions. More profits for Bandai and more options for consumers.
