New Plamo Arrivals For July 21, 2021

This week is a short workweek here in Japan, meaning the new releases are here earlier than usual! And we’ve only got a couple to take a look at today – but among them is the anticipated HG Nightingale! Check the new kits out below!

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Gundam

HGUC Nightingale

Bandai finally brings us an HG version of the Nightingale, as seen in “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children”! The Nightingale’s massive body is about 40cm wide and 21cm tall, even in 1/144 scale! Click the link above to go to the product page at HLJ, where you can read about the gimmicks & more in detail!

Mobile Police Patlabor

MODEROID AV-98 Ingram (Mobile Police Patlabor)

From the classic anime series “Mobile Police Patlabor” comes a special 1/60 scale plastic model kit of the Patrol Labor AV-98 Ingram! It has been carefully replicated based on their appearance from the series, and feature lots of points of articulation and diverse weapons. Either Ingram 1 or Ingram 2 can be created with the kit.

Imaginary Skeleton

Imaginary Skeleton Tyrannosaurus

This plastic model is about 35cm in length, and incorporates the latest theories and scientific findings into its 1/32 scale to simulate the assembly of a skeletal specimen of a real Tyrannosaurus! The figure also comes with a pedestal that recreates plants from the Cretaceous period. Every leaf has been detailed to perfection, too!

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.
