HG Soryumaru Unboxing

HG Soryumaru

The HG Soryumaru arrived just last week, the first (and so far, only) of its kind from Bandai! The Soryumaru is one half of a new collaboration between the HG and S.H.Figuarts line — the other half being the Tamashii Girl Aoi. The two items combine to form a motorbike if you’re so inclined, or can be displayed on their own.

Bandai drives home the collaboration on the left part of the box. On the right, we get a look at the front and back of the completed model as well as some of the gimmicks.

On the other side of the box, of course, we’re treated to a display of the Soryumaru and Aoi combined in motorbike form!

And here’s the base for the arm parts that you can use to customize the way you put your kit on display!

Finally, a sheet of stickers for detail, with foil and plain stickers on the same sheet. Included are Tamashii logos, the HG x S.H.Figuarts collaboration logo, and the HG line logo.

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Hoping for some more HG/Figuarts crossovers in the future from franchises I’m more into.

  2. I really like the design of the Robot dude and the girl figure. They definitely give me some Studio Trigger vibes with their appearance.
