This week, we’ve got new Macross plamo in the form of the one-man battle pod Regult! Also on deck are a new mecha girl from the Fantasy Girls line, 30 Minutes Sisters accessories, Gundam workstations, and kits from Votoms and Fighbird! Check them all out below, and grab ’em while stock lasts!
If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!
The Zentradi Army’s mass-production type one-man battle pod Regult now gets a model kit from Hasegawa! Glue is not required for assembly, and it’s molded in four colors so you’ll get a result very close to the package illustration without the need for paint. It’s jointed so it’ll be posable after assembly; the left and right main rockets, the charged particle beam cannon at the upper front, and the laser anti-aircraft machine gun in the rear are all movable. The included stand allows you to display it in flight, too. And the legendary Hidetaka Tenjin is in charge of the package illustration!
The second in the NUKE MATRIX Fantasy Girl series of plamo kits is here with the remote attack battle base info tactician Lirly Bell! She specializes in tactical analysis, and is equipped with her own futuristic strategy board. She comes with a gun for close combat, a carrot-shaped missile, and an AI-powered pod for escort missions. The AI pod can be combined with the armament of others in the series. Comes with three tampo-printed face parts, four unprocessed face parts, decals and stickers, and a stand. Order her for your collection today!
30 Minutes Sisters
Customize your 30MS (30 Minutes Sisters) figure kit to your liking with this optional stealth armor parts set! This armor is made in the image of a fox, and a general-purpose runner of joints is included.
Customize your 30MS (30 Minutes Sisters) figure kit to your liking with this optional body parts set! The body has the same volume as SIS-A00 Tiasha (sold separately), but with a different silhouette. You can use the 3mm joints common to all 30MS figures to rearrange the arms and legs.
What better way to build your Gunpla than on your own “Mobile Suit Gundam” inspired workstation! It’s compact for easy storage, and the pull-out design allows for quick disposal of your runner shavings. There’s also a stand for your plamo instruction manuals, providing an all-around comfortable work space. There’s even a nipper holder on the side to keep your desk clear of clutter.
The space warfare version of the Standing Tortoise from “Armored Trooper Votoms” gets a model-kit release from Wave! This kit snaps together so glue isn’t needed, and polycaps on each joint provide posability. The cockpit and landing mechanism are fully reproduced, and it comes with a missile launcher and a solid shooter; the first release of this kit includes a differently designed ankle part, too. And the box art is by Kunio Okawara!
The newest entry in Bandai’s “SMP” (Shokugan Modeling Project) lineup is Jet Combined Grand Bird from “The Brave of Sun Fighbird”! The two Fire Shuttles can be combined with the Brester Jet to form the mighty Jet Combined Grand Bird; combine it with the first armed combined Fighbird to get Great Fighbird! Each one comes with a piece of soda-flavored gum; there are three different models available, and they’re randomly packed three to a box.
