WOOT!? Didn’t know the previous Rem figure winner didn’t contact you guys. And now I’m the winner of that figure! Will I receive a message through hobbylink.tv or email or how do I contact you guys?
Already knew Scott was a Gundam Wing fan with the older Tallgeese releases he built. That Gundam series was a big hit and pushed the franchise in America. But I’m a fan of the old UC series, Seed and 00. It’s a shame that for 00 Bandai has only focused on the main suits for their RG, MG and perfect grade series, but not the other suits. Hopefully…[Read more]
Congratulations for reaching the 50th episode finally, after an eternity 😉 And hope you guys get that 100k subs soon and the silver youtube badge that comes with it.
This Rem figure looks awesome, specially with the glowing horn.
I read some portion of the light novel and most of the available manga but haven’t watched the anime, it’s still in my ‘to watch’ list with tons of other anime. So many series, not enough time >.<
It’s funny but a friend of mine is quite unlucky or would you say lucky when it comes to broken legs and Gundams? Two times he has bought PG kits he has broken a leg or foot some way or another, giving him some nice downtime to build the kits.
I don’t disagree with your reasoning, but you do realize the deadline is coming up? You might miss the deadline if you try to perfect the build. I had one month of no work due to waiting on the exhaust nozzles to arrive. Once they arrived, I fast-tracked my contest build. I’m definitely meeting the deadline.
Some more progress
Intakes and main wheel bays painted.
The fit of the intakes to the fuselage is so-so. Needed some clamping while glue dries. And the whole fuselage glued…
Dunno if I’ll finish in time, since the painting and decaling will be most consuming process on this build. But I’ll try to push on.
Here’s the cockpit finished, it was…
You painted the resin cockpit better than I did. You could finish the contest build in time if you aren’t too nitpicking. Don’t worry about the shape or form of the kit. Do the best paint job, which to the average modeler might be the most important, but not to the experienced modeler. The gloss coat before decals takes a week for me. Maybe a few…[Read more]
So this’ll be my entry for the competition.
The Su-33 from Ace Combat 6 with the Idolm@ster skin.
I’ll be using the Aires resin Cockpit and Exhaust sets, the Wolfpack wheel bay set and replacing some of the missiles and parts of the pylons with the ones from the Eduard set for the Mig-29.
OMG, now I feel old cause I did play PowerDoLLs 1 & 2. They were really old school turn based strategy game for PC, I played them as a fix for more after playing the Front Mission games back then.
Ahh, I get itchy just looking at those gate marks on the titanium finish.
Hopefully I’ll get my stuff together and start posting my entry for this year’s plamo contest.
chuck a sickie, you still have the rest of the week dude

Hope we get to see that Su-33 finished, that setup looks really interesting.
