Hideaki Anno, Japanese animator, filmmaker and actor behind such series as “Evangelion,” “Shin Godzilla,” and so much more, is having an art exhibit rerun in Osaka from April 16th to June 19th this year. The exhibit will also travel around to prefectures at various dates, as it has proven to have attracted tons of visitors when in Tokyo.

The exhibit will feature and highlight super rare and valuable original illustrations and sketches from the man himself, as well as statues of the anime and tokusatsu works he had a hand in. You’ll also be able to see some of his handwritten notes, storyboards, layouts, and directions – a little behind-the-scenes peek into the mind working behind all of your favorite series.

Even displays from “Shin Ultraman” will be there, so go check it out if you have the chance!
