Gunpla TV – Entry Grade Collector Buckets

We’ve got not one, but TWO collector buckets of fun to talk about today! Recently, these two limited-time Gunpla Buckets were released, giving us our first look at the brand-new Entry Grade RX-78-2. We’re talking two full months before the release of the kit from Bandai!

Molded respectively in metallic sheen plastic or in Christmas color, depending on the bucket you get, these kits also include two corn potage flavored corn puff snack packs that will give you something delicious to munch on while building!

In this episode:
Round Box with Gunpla (ENTRY GRADE 1/144 RX-78-2) Christmas Color
Round Box with Gunpla (ENTRY GRADE 1/144 RX-78-2) Metallic Blue Color

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  3. Have fun building Gunpla while snacking, just got to be careful that you don’t accidentally pop plastic in your mouth instead of the snack pieces! Definitely a great move to make it appeal to younger ones, wonder if they secretly have a collab with KFC to make more people want to buy their buckets… 😛

  4. The Christmas colours, sorry to say, look kinda ugly to me. But the sparkly/metallic boi? Tempting.

  5. Being an Entry Grade and given the price, this isn’t that bad; especially given the part separation and he included articulation. Honestly, if I was brand new to the hobby, I’d probably start out with the SDCS RX-78-2 if the RX-78-2 w as one of my favorite designs. After that, I might go with the HG Revive and the HG Origins versions.

  8. If it’s gonna be a Christmas version, it should have more vibrant reds and greens.
