how to stuff up a SDF-1 pt6 (fiddley little kit)
it has soldering that looks like it was done by a retarded monkey with hemorrhoids but its nearly done. dont know how much…
how to stuff up a SDF-1 pt 2 (the fun continues)
well as mentioned in my last post I live nowhere near a hobby shop, so a set of cheap left over christmas lights will have to…
well im posting this on the remote chance i will actually finish it.
I chose this kit over sazabi or the origin guntank purely as i always wanted a robotech (yes i know) SDF…
gbwc ended at nycc and this year’s entries’ quality was much better than last year. even though i didnt win or anything it was a fun competition seeing other entries and being able to learn from their awesome works. check out the works at https://www.facebook.com/kdash71/?fref=ts (my entry is the sinanju stein) the winner was child of mechas…[Read more]
first go at a customizing a kit. i didnt like the 144 Z’Gok, its joints are flimsy and its a bit meh. so it became a piece of test plastic. although the pics don’t show it much the light and dark chrome came out alright…..then after the first attempt at painting i had to go i bit further
I am a 1:100 guy, but I like what BANDAI does with the RG line. The Z’Gok is one of my favourit suitdesigns but I dont like the colorsceme of it. The metal fits already much better and in combination with the LEDs it is more than shiny. I will get me the MG version of it some day. But I have no idea for it right now and alot of other stuff tu…[Read more]
the metallic finish isnt paint, i used this kit as a test for some powder stuff called c1 metalizer. i have a battlestar cyclon raider kit to do and then the british pound crashed so i thought what the hell, why not order some and give it a go. good effect, easy to use.
I bought something similar, wich is made for chrome and gold fingernails. Made some experiments with medium results but looking forward to the Gyancelots and Gyans I ordered to make shiny knights with it. Do you have some tips for the application? Or does it easily work on gloss black?
the recommendation is to be applied on gloss black paint however i have found that lighter plaint (as long as they have a glossy finish) come up with the lighter chrome colours. I have had no issues with masking and applying standard stickers, havent tried water or rubbing decals though. since its a graphite style buff finish i suspect painting…[Read more]

May you show the backpack more closely. It looks monstrous. Looking at my Stein I realize some of the used parts, but I would love to see the whole thing.
