HG Nu-Zeon Gundam Unboxing

1/144 HDBD:R Nu-Zeon Gundam

The Nu-Zeon Gundam is a bit of a beast. It’s got a really hefty box for an HG — I forgot to take a photo, so you’ll just have to trust me on this one. It’s easy to see why, anyway: it’s got hulking weapon and wing parts!

There’s an unusually lot of red going on in this desgin — and some pretty cool antennae and accessories. Let’s dive in.

The Box

Here we see the Nu-Zeon in all its glory holding the Zeonic Sword. You’ll notice that the tip of the sword rests in a base; that’s how massive it is. Kudos to Bandai for including that base — it will probably go a long way in helping the kit stay balanced when on display.

More configuration options, including the massive Hi Mega Saber. I love this one — wait until you see the effect part in the box!

On the right, you can see an even greater option for customization: pick up the Marsfour Weapons, and you can arm this super-armed Gundam a little more.

…and a ton of polycats, the clear yellow effect part, and just a few stickers.

The effect part is long. Check it out compared to the box:

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.
