Gunpla TV – HGBD:R Load Astray Double Rebake

The HGBD:R Load Astray Double Rebake is double the Gundam, double the fun! This two-sided mobile suit features a reversible gimmick — the back of the Gundam is a whole extra mech! But it doesn’t stop there: there’re actually 3 modes, accessories, and all sorts of cool features that make this unique kit really stand out. But does this double-sided feature take the cake? Or is it only half-baked? Tune in to find out!

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. What an unique design for a Gundam, I love it. Btw, good job with those tiny stickers, man.

  2. Haha, sticking the Gundam in the oven for a triple rebake, that will be one hot Gundam!! Might make Reverso mode look even more monstrous, with all the melted plastic dripping off, haha!

  4. I wondered about that Load/Lord naming thing. I agree this could very well be a situation where someone got Lord and Load confused.
    That sticker sheet though… 😱.
I agree that we could see an HG MHF-01Ω Lord AstrayΩ.
In the time stamp, you guys wrote it as “Color Deparation”? I presume you guys meant Separation?
That is a weird choice. There is a white runner for this HG so they could’ve made this a white part with recessed grooves for the black detail where they could’ve had smaller black stickers or just nothing and let people just panel line/paint in the detail. Someone at Bandai definitely didn’t think this one through very well.
