Figure-rise LABO releases are always exciting for us. They’re a rare type of model kit that builds beautiful static figures, but at a fraction of the cost of one.

This particular kit is the first from “Love Live!” — the LABO line is best known for its Fumina and Miku kits. What’s extra special about this kit is that Alter, a figure maker known for it’s incredible sculpting and attention to detail, collaborated on this release, so you can really expect it to be good!

The Box

The Runners

A: Kotori’s face comes molded in four colors, and her eyebrows, eyelashes, and even blush already appear on her skin. No painting required.

B: Kotori’s eyes are molded in four colors and snap into place, so again, you won’t have to worry about botching any of the delicate details on the figure’s face through paint, stickers, or decals. It’s all ready for you.

C: White, salmon pink, light pink, and gold

The light pink parts have a beautiful gloss finish.

D: Brown

Kotori’s hair is molded in multiple parts for optimal detail.

E1: ???

Honestly, I don’t know what to call this color! These parts are phenomenal, molded in a translucent plastic with a shaded, shimmery pearl finish.

The edges have tiny lace details, too!

F: Flesh-colored parts including arms and legs

G: Translucent parts with glitter

Gorgeous draping detail and sparkly glitter.

H: Mint green

I1 & I2: Light blue

J: White

K1 & K2: Cream

L: Lavender x2
