Tachikoma, the famous mascot of Ghost In The Shell, is getting the attention it deserves starring in its own kit from Kotobukiya. Let’s check out what’s in the box!
Great cover art. Bright and crisp. Will it convince you to buy a whole team?
The box is the same size as a regular HG.

The side shows off the gimmicks, which may be a little bit underwhelming.
When you crack open the box, the iconic coloring will pop right out at you!
The manual folds out like a brochure, normal for kits this size.
The paint guide to get the famous coloring just right.
The plates are laid out in the manual, and down below in alphabetical order!
The H, I, and J plates give us figures of Kusanagi, Batou, and Miki.
For some final thoughts, this kit will seem familiar to you if you’ve built any of the other Ghost in the Shell kits from Kotobukiya. Tachikoma fans have been waiting for this for years, and after we’ve been teased with mini-versions in other sets, finally, here it is! Just by looking at the plates, we can see a lot of details carved into the plastic, and the colors seem to be just right. With less parts than other kits in the same series, you can expect a quick build, and I’m hoping it looks good. Stick around to see it all put together!
