1/100 RF-12/B Second Jive by Kotobukiya (Available From HobbyLink Japan – HLJ.com)
Second Jive is the latest member of the Frame Arms family. Let’s see what’s inside the box.
Sharp cover art showing both forms of Second Jive. No frame is visible when it’s on store shelves.
The box is just a tad smaller than a MG Hi-Zack.
Side art focuses on the humanoid form of Second Jive with the price of 4600 JPY at the corner. Get 20% off at HLJ.com!
The showy side of the box shows off a load of gimmicks, the transformation and weapons.
The first layer of double-decker packaging nicely shows off the interchangeable frame and some small plates.
And the bottom layer with all the other plates seems quite colorful.
I’m liking the cover of the manual which includes some stats.
It doesn’t seem too complicated when you delve inside.
And the official color guide at the back of the manual as usual. That ride is looking pretty wild.
Before we get to dinner, here is some dessert to start with in the form of some colorful plates.
And here’s the main course shown in alphabetical order.
Now for some final thoughts. The Frame Arms line so far is always fun to build. It’s quite simple, but the outcome is always quite satisfactory. Moreover, as I missed the previous one that can transform into a motorcycle, it just makes me even more curious about this kit. Will the transformation help or hinder the experience? How will it look and stay together in both forms? Let’s find out in Part 2! Thanks for checking this out.
