Following the unboxing, here is the review for the Robot Damashii Kshatriya from Gundam Unicorn. It’s an amazing toy and I’ve also included a relevant other toy to help accompany the mighty Kshatriya in this review.

Just to refresh your memory, the NZ-666 Kshatriya is a beast of a mobile suit. One of its most memorable encounters is when it faces some Federation RGM-89D Jegans, with one of these being a much more agile RGM-89S Stark Jegan.

The design was originally part of the Char’s Counterattack Mobile Suit Variation, or MSV, range, and Gundam Unicorn marked its first time in animation. As such, I’ve dug out my Robot Damashii Stark Jegan to help with this review, if only to show how massive this Kshatriya toy really is.

This figure needs some minor assembly out of the box, as you need to affix the four binders. Within these are the funnels, additional grappling arms and other articulation to allow them to open (shown above).

Once affixed the figure is able to stand up fine on its own. However, due to its size it also comes with a large and sturdy stand.

Following this you also get a multitude of beam sabers, with one being from a ReZel, various hands and a selection of booster effects for the binders and funnels.

The detailing is straightforward but done well. This is one of the earlier Robot Damashii releases, so the detailing isn’t as fine as newer toys but this actually isn’t an issue as the design itself is quite curvy and broad in terms of its detailing.

The articulation is still amazingly done though and the binders and the arms beneath have a fantastic range of movement.

Once placed on the stand you can enact more aerial poses, which includes using the various effect parts. The most striking of these are the clear parts that allow you to mimic the funnels flying.

I dug out my Robot Damashii Stark Jegan (shown above) to help illustrate how massive this Kshatriya toy is. It’s very large indeed and considering the size, very sturdy and easy to play with.

So if you’re a fan of Gundam Unicorn and want one of the most imposing mobile suits from the series, then this Robot Damashii Kshatriya is simply glorious.
