Robot Damashii Gundam F91 Evolution Spec – See More Robot Damashii at HobbyLink Japan

Following the unboxing, here is the review for the Evolution Spec toy of the F91 Gundam from the 90’s anime movie Gundam F91.
This is a very nicely done toy and while we’ve had a few versions of the F91 Gundam over the years, this probably one of the best iterations.
First off, this is an all-new Robot Damashii toy of the F91. The sculpt and detailing are all completely redone and the articulation is more involved as well.
Specifically, there is extra articulation in the hip that allows you higher and lower the hip joint to allow for a wider array of movement.
It’s also much more faithful to the design work by Kunio Okawara, and retains the sleek and high-performance look from the anime.
The accessories are also very comprehensive, from the beam rifle to beam launch as well as the beam shield and the spinning beam saber effect. You also get a variety of hands, the shoulder radiators and a separate head with an “open” face.
The figure stands up fine on its own but works best on a Tamashii Stage stand (sold separately), as you can really do more with the poses with way.
Overall, this is arguably one of the best toys of the F91 Gundam and is surprisingly complete in terms of all the gimmicks and accessories on offer.
