That’s a nice shade of gold. What brand did you use for it? I got a hunch, but I could be wrong.

Seems to be a surprisingly good metallic paint, pain to clean out of the airbrush though, or if the mix just a smidge too thick and having to give a quick blast into the exhaust fan.

Giving it the Kirara paint job too?

Yeah, as soon I find suitable colors for her type of pink, but only after I address the Kampfer and “That other project” 😀

Haha, actually, I haven’t painted this kit yet. This is the one I’m planning to try digital camo on. A bit more fixes on welds and then I can prime by the weekend.

That looks great. The gun fits the GM suit so well, you could’ve fooled me if you said that it came with the kit originally.

Thanks, man! The rifle is pretty light, only slightly heavier than the standard rifle. It helps a ton that the GM Sniper II’s arms have solid joints. The only thing that may sag is the ball-joint for the trigger hand, but some primer and paint can fix that easily.

I cut out the handle/stock from standard rifle (since it’s the key for having it usable without issue with the kit), fused it to the Gelgoog rifle you can build with the 1/144 System Weapon 002 set with the handle/trigger sawed off, then sawed off the front barrel portion of the Gelgoog rifle and fused in the barrel from a System Weapon 001 Zaku…[Read more]

Thank you, good sir. I honestly think this rifle is one of my rare strokes of genius so I’m really proud of it and how it came out. Hopefully the transitioning area I made with Apoxie Sculpt between the handle and receiver comes out good when I prime.

I guess that’s the magic of a bright photo, haha. That and this place doesn’t allow for anything higher-res without external links. I’m going attempt the digital camo on a spoon first and make sure I got the methods down. I’m switch to all lacquer paints on this so any screw-ups will take more time to fix.

Happy late birthday. Great kits. It’s nice to see something from G Gundam. You usually don’t see those kits around these days.

Yeah, BanDai was really kind to the G-Gundam fans early by giving us 4 of the most important kits in MG form, but it would be great if they’d give the other Shuffle alliance members some needed HG love on the 1/144 scale, or at the very least make a 1/100 Rising Gundam since it already shares many of the parts with the MG Shining >.>

I like the idea of making the psycho frame, more phsycho:) sounds good to me.

Do you still want to retain the clear look or no?

I kinda do want to keep it, but in the end it really doesn’t matter. One thing I noticed was that the Psycho Frame I painted in Display base is almost the same overall shade as the clear parts.

In that case, I say go for what you did for the display base, so it matches.

I love the way your display base looks. That’s my pick. I love the way the gold looks underneath the orange.

It’s interesting that you got two. You certainly have an idea here.

Oh I have plans for it. The best part about having 2, other than my plans. Is having spare parts to use or text on.

Never thought about painting the inside to accent the inner frame, sounds good.

I dig the Norn, especially beacuse of the Armed Armor XC on its back. It’s one wicked cool looking equipment. I’m looking forward on this project man!
