Sweeet! Excellent job Saz! You should definitely be proud of your work. And those are some cool dynamic poses you pulled off. It definitely looks like it’s in flight.

A very good plan on that masking idea Saz. I wouldn’t want to loose that Gold sheen myself. Man, kits become so delicate after they are painted. It would be safe not to disassemble it again.

I use masking tape. It’s very versatile. I cut about 1/2-1 inch of tape and roll it on the skewer. And then just attach the part on it.

That doesn’t damage any paint?

Not because it acts just like Tacky things, since it’s rolled up you put it either under the Part (like a connector).
None of the Clips, Tack or tape should touch the surface to be painted.

I’ll have to give it a try. My test subject this time around has 3 measly points of articulation (it’s an AG kit), so that should work well.

I use it as I go. Alligator clips for the larger pieces, poster tack for the smaller rounded ones, or just sticking the end into a gap, if it fits.

A team-up huh… interesting. I didn’t see that coming. But then again, taking on a gigantic mobile armor could require it. This fight will be quite an epic showdown.

A spoiler in just the second trailer, haha. I expect many people to die. It’s interesting that the Banshee Norn doesn’t have a green Psyco frame like the Unicorn. Instead, it has that wierd, really light orange.

Ever worked with nail clipper? haha, that’s how I started. It cuts clean but a challenge to use because of its design.
So what side clipper did you end up getting?

haha yeah totally busy with all of the extra equipment! I actually thought of getting another shield armor during the time I purchased the haul. But I decided to save it for the Full Armor. But yeah, I’m definitely stoked for the redux project. I’ve learned so much since then. And now with an airbrush in hand, I can refine it.

Thanks all, the forums were a big help. V0LTES did catch me on my laziness though… the busters are still skewered, awaiting the day I paint again. I am having quite an issue picking the next kit though so it might be awhile.

A WTF moment indeed my friend LOL, but in an amusing way. Well it seems that a Mario Kart rally race is up next for the elimination round LOL. I sense a Takeshi’s Castle theme going on LOL.

Just saw it too and I share the same reaction as the characters. A pretty nice WTF moment when they revealed Sei and Reiji’s battle with the Thai champ. I loved how outrageous it was portrayed, especially the Director’s assistant’s reaction after, haha. The next episode looks like it will have another WTF moment too.

That episode was… horrendous. It seems to be going downhill if this is what we can expect, can’t believe I waited nearly two weeks for that episode. I know this series is meant to be taken entirely serious, but somethings don’t belong in gundam (won’t say it to avoid spoilers).

The episode was decent. I think it could have done without the whole “itchiness” part. That just seems to have been thrown in there cause the writers couldn’t think of something funny to do with the main story. It could have just been left out IMO.

It’s possible, considering they can just use the existing RG Strike frame and change the armor around. That and it’s a main suit, haha. I didn’t think of Sei going with an RG frame, though. Looking back at it again, it did look like the SBS had an inner frame. Unless that was just the Plavsky particles giving that effect.

High Grade Build Strike (and hence, also the upcoming HGCE Aile Strike) actually does have a certain amount of “inner frame” inside the forearm. LOL, me too, just a few days ago that I discovered them. It was from a member on reddit.com’s Gunpla community. I quickly added it on the kit list after I saw it LOL. No doubt, it’s definitely an awesome display piece; an instant eye catcher. And all the invested effort will be worth it in the end.
