Thnx for sharing Squee. Definitely diggin that Stamen Bust… and wow, still in progress 3 years later. Goodness, resin kits will definitely kick my ass. I checked G-System’s store before my post. I really wanted their RX-78-2 Head Bust, but unfortunately sold out.
Well i have gunpla ocd, so the three years is more because i started other projects. You should also check out GSM http://www.g-system-models.com/index+.html
You can buy them prepainted/built. You can also search Ebay, there are sellers selling finished kits.
Gunpla aficionados, what are your thoughts and impressions on 1/35 Gundam Head Bust Resin Kits? Would you consider getting it at some point in time? I just recently came across about it while browsing and instantly became stoked of acquiring one.
I’d love to try my hand at one, but resin kits take a ton of time to work on. I already have limited time as is so I think I’ll stay with plastic for now, haha.
If you’re looking for a HI Nu, my friend has an extra SMS HI Nu bust, but he’s still on vacation to HK. I could pass along any interest. SMS is a great resin company.
As for the resin heads, i have an Original G System GP03 bust. They’re really fun builds, but like Dlinker said, the prep work is the key. I still haven’t finished mine… 3 years…[Read more]
This is the first I’ve ever heard of them, but man, I want one now, haha. Squee and Dlinker are right. That would take a long time to finish, but it would definitely be an awesome display piece if you put in the hours.
LOL, me too, just a few days ago that I discovered them. It was from a member on reddit.com’s Gunpla community. I quickly added it on the kit list after I saw it LOL. No doubt, it’s definitely an awesome display piece; an instant eye catcher. And all the invested effort will be worth it in the end.

Thanks for your input man! Testors brand empty glass bottles will definitely be of great use in the future. Especially when I start making my own paint mixture. But hey check this out, our search is over, I found the crown jewel of mixing apparatus! Chem Lab Beakers LOL… they have them in 5ml, 10ml, and even 1ml.
Oh man, I don’t know why I didn’t bother to search for those. A most excellent find. I’m checking Amazon now and they have 10ml glass beakers for 84 cents. As much as I like my plastic medicine cups, these might just be easier to work with overall.
Does anyone know if there’s a metal version of Mr. Measuring Cup with Pourer? Or if there’s another brand that carries it? I have the Mr. Paint Tray, but since I’ve acquired an Airbrush, a tray with a pourer would be more convinient for me to use. If there’s none available, I thought about cocktail jiggers as substitute LOL.
Sorry man, can’t help you here. I’ve been looking for something like that myself and haven’t found it (at least not something that’s affordable). I went with 1oz. plastic medicine cups and toothpicks to solve my mixing/pouring needs, along with Testors brand empty glass bottles for paint storage.

thwalker, man, i was so anxious to receive a response from her that I checked my mail box daily LOL… which I normally don’t do. I’m glad we got something. But for now we just have to remain patient.

Too bad they won’t tell us what went wrong. Kinda curious to know what happened, haha. Still, it sounds like they’re working on it so perhaps by the end of the January we’ll be up again (at the latest).
Sounds like a server crash. I’m kinda surprised it’s taking this long to fix, but that stuff can be pretty severe, especially if it involves a really big crash.
Most likely by next week. really’d be shocked if they got it back up by the end of this week but hey that’s pushing my luck as is. Whats important is that we got some (albeit incomplete) information and that theyre fixin it. 😀
