I’m definitely slowing down on the KA to make sure the Build Fighter kits are ready. As for the Ecto-1, that may very well be the one I go crazy with. You build Japanese kits for so long, you forget how meticulous they can be in comparison to other companies. I have to scratch-build some parts to…[Read more]
Oh man, I cosplayed once as Kirito, creating the Elucidator before people picked up on SAO & Before the release on Western TV/Cartoon Network and it was a blast. (Sword Creation; http://imgur.com/a/Eot89/#0) & (Actual Cosplay; Sad since you can’t see the full thing 😐 http://i.imgur.com/tOlLP.jpg)
& those enough we’re a bitch and I can’t even…[Read more]
I’ve heard plenty a bad experience regarding GGInfinite though I personally haven’t ordered from them.
Though ModelGrade has been phenomenal and I’ve ordered twice from them but both over $150 for the Free Shipping. Customer Service is A+, I had to do a couple of item switches and was short a couple dollars but the owner was very helpful and…[Read more]
I have two of those catalogs lol. I love gundam planet, every issue I’ve had has been corrected immediately. I”m pretty much just going to order from them. I’m not too impressed with ggifinite right now.
Hey guys, I recently started a Gundam Club in my City & we’re gonna be holding our 1st Meeting this Saturday (At a Korean Restau too mhmmm Galbi). It’s located in Austin, TX so if you are in a city close to Austin, come join us!
You get a much more stable airflow with a tank. It also means the motor does not run all the time which makes for longer life. Even the auto start/stop non tanked compressor runs the motor at full when it’s on.
Which do you think I should get? And I’m not entirely sure what people mean when they say Quick Disconnect… Care to have the time to help me understand it? and what I would need to get for them work on my Iwata Neo?
Quick disconnects are little pieces of metal that allow you to disconnect the airbrush from the hose without screwing it on or off, thus earning the name “quick disconnect.” It particularly comes in handy when cleaning the airbrush. Look for Iwata’s quick disconnect adapter, if they have one.
Alright, the reason I’m asking is because the one I linked in the original post looks exactly like the one Harbor Freight carries except with a better hose. Still unsure which one to get though.
The Harbor Freight by my area is gonna be holding a Parking Lot Sale on March 7-9 and I’m considering waiting since it might be on sale during then. What do you think? If anything I might get my wife to pick this up for me today though… How do you like the Hose it came with? Would you suggest…[Read more]

Thanks, I went ahead and bought the Tamiya Cutters & the God Hand Nippers aswell, one for initial cutting and another for clean up.
I went to Harbor Freight yesterday and I think I know what you are talking about. Is it the one with the Moisture Filter included? IIRC it was about $67 so yea. I wasn’t happy being told that the 20% Off Coupon…[Read more]

I’m thinking of getting one along a compressor that I might order. (Speaking of which anyone have an idea on where to get a good priced one? The one that’s…[Read more]
I haven’t bought a compressor yet so I can’t chime in on that one, but I can chime in on the nippers. God Hand Nippers are touted as the best by many people, but honestly, those Tamiya Side Cutters will work just as well.
I have a GHN and yes, it slices through nubs better than my 2-year-old Xurons, but not so much that I don’t need to do any…[Read more]
I have Tamiya’s Sharp Point Side Cutters. They are a worthy upgrade. Get them. However, I have heard the God Hand Nippers are better. They are very hard to find, and extremely expensive. If you have some money to burn, by all means, buy them.
I have the Harbor Freight 1/6 HP 58 PSI compressor. It works great, and it’s only sixty five bucks. I…[Read more]

Thanks man, I love how the kit transformed when I put the details & the decals. I love how the sword looks and it definitely was well worth the work. The TA2 completes the kit in more ways than one!
Also iirc Titanium Silver, but I’ll double check tomorrow haha. Laying in bed with the Display Case lit and seeing what I’ve been working on…[Read more]
This was tons of fun & now I get to work on my 1st ever Diorama :p
I didn’t expect to learn much from this hobby but I definitely am learning a ton!
I’m really happy though with how this came out. Like taking the time to work on it gives me such a big sense of accomplishment & specially looking at what the kit looks like OOB…[Read more]
Yea, I’m a Nikon man though lol. Back then I was into photography and slowly reverted back to Micro 4/3s (Got myself a Nex5N & Fuji X100, both of which are phenomenal.) but for the time being I’m gonna be using my wifes A200 LOL
If I had a canon rebel or better I would probably punch someone for so much as looking at it wrong. Not being able to afford a dslr is why I’ve yet to buy a camera. + if I had that kind of money I’d be buying a shell to build a drift missile lmao
I got mine years ago, but I did a quick look on best buy’s website, the cheapest is like $500. Not cheap, but Gunpla (at least at the Master/Perfect Grade level) isn’t exactly a cheap either. As a consolation prize, if you have an iPhone 5S or the top end Nokia, their cameras are both supposed to be pretty close to low end DSLRs.
I’ve been pretty impressed with my iPhone 4S camera so far, it’s what I take all my pictures with it’s an 8 mp camera iirc and it does okay. As said above at 500$ Cash in my pocket my because race car blood could never live down not buying a shell to work on lol already have a bunch of parts piling up for it
I used a Palm back then. I even had a camera that plugged into the thing’s damn SD slot. Also had a Symbian, although the Palm was much better. The original iPhone though, that was the turning point. People really don’t understand/remember just how innovative and revolutionary it was. I loved my Palm back in the day, but I wouldn’t give it a…[Read more]

That thing is just beautiful. You have a good eye for detail and quality. What metallic did you use for the blade on the big sword? Really nice finish on it.
