For the panel, wanted it to be a little fuzzy due to scale of the kit
the lines are not very straight in this tiny scale, not as what I do in 1/72 or 1/35, that’s why I made it that way

almost one positive thing ; I will not ruin myself on Delta products like I have done with Zero, MAcross, Plus and Frontier series… ^^

The overall decoration of those two valks reminds me “Macross the Ride”
despite I don’t like much the racing type deco of those units, some aree tremendously designed, by customisation of current valkyries.
Since the drakken was one of Kawamori’s favourite aircraft design, I think the dark red one could be a VF inspired by this aircraft.

never had issues in transforming the mecha
I had done very little paint on mines, and used stickers, as i transform them often… thicker, so no problem

and I made a satin coat over, it’s quite a good result…

If you don’t find the original decals, some of the exclusive bandai decals set (sheryl or ranka models) can be found on ebay.

I had missed it I think
it’s to say I didn’t kept the DXv2 more than a month, I sold it right away after I did a review with the 1/72 model kits…
Maybe those are clipping parts in the inner side of the back of the valk, but it’s obvious it’s on the DXv2 (renewal version)
So if you want this gimmick, you must take only renewal VF-25 😉
