I didn’t finish my model for the 2013 plamo contest, so I’ll try again. This time it’s a Wave Gladiator, one of my favorite MaK machines. Required box art and first peek into the box. Now to figure out how to post in the advanced group. It’s been a while. View
Kuroneko, I hear you. I have run out of space, so it is harder to buy more kits. Like you, I buy less these days. Bandai kits will be around for a long time, but the smaller kit makers might not reissue their kits for many years. But for me, if I miss something I am sad, but it really does not matter because I have too many kits already!
my mountain not small too. Always worry it will fall on me too. 😛
You got a jackpot! you got the shopaholic illness already. Because buying make us happy but short term. The we unhappy, we buy again and it will never stop. There is always sales, cheap shipping… I myself sometime also hard to resist it. Maybe you can add everything in the…[Read more]
All right, I think that make THREE MG Kampfers in the fray! Beware the brittle plastic of the blue armor pieces – they are prone to chipping and shattering! The rest of the parts are okay though. I agree that the teal-like blue of the plastic is not very attractive.
Good luck on your build, and be very careful when test fitting and assembling…[Read more]
The only MG kit in the last couple of years that compelled me to immediately hit the “buy this” button! Actually it is my ONLY MG purchase for a couple of years. Are you going to do anything to address the mold parting lines on the power cables? I haven’t figured out what I’m going to do on my kit.
No worries, this guy has two bazookas, plus two shotguns and two panzerfausts, all standard equipment. It comes with a “chain mine” as well, but it is silly looking. A Gatling gun is thus not necessary (and would be Fake Gundam).
Yeah, too busy/lazy to make one up. I’ll get to it…before Jan 1, 2014!
Where are the East Oahu Radical Splinter Faction boys? The D tried to register and log in today. I hope he can find his way in. I noticed the dialogue box intermittently fails to appear. And the Big Orkork? Beeeezy?
I’m pecking away on the Kampfer, just haven’t had…[Read more]

I’m not planning on getting the Sazabi, as I don’t really care for the sliding panels and light-up innards.
But one Ver.Ka that I want and expected to materialize is the Barzam. The TV version is ugly as all get up, but the Ver.Ka one looks great. The Gundam Mk.II Ver 2.0 is s solid platform to base such a kit on. I know there are conversion…[Read more]
Sazabi has no light up innards apart from the now normal head LED.
And it has very few sliding panels its not the same as Nu Ver.Ka.
We will also likely never see a Barzam Ver.Ka in MG form.
For the Kampfer build, I will be using Bandai’s 0080 Part 2 decal set, and Satellite’s caution data set. The Satellite sheets come in different colors, so I am showing the black one for photo purposes. I’ll actually be using the white sheet. The Bandai HDM resin manipulators have more detail and hold weapons better than the kit’s plastic…[Read more]
