As it is the 40th anniversary of Gunpla I decided to build the Ver. Ka (and experience the terror of dry rub transfers). But as it is made from the parts of two GMs from 0083 I decided to get another RX-78 and recreate the RX-78-1 from Mobile Suit Variations. View

The MS-06V Zaku tank rounds off the Zaku battalion that I began while Build Fighters Try was originally broadcast. I’ve also built the third GM using the 08th MS Team Ground…
I built the previous HG Zeta a while ago but ran into trouble assembling the legs as the lower leg assembly had both sides almost identical which lead me to glue two sides from the left and right legs together, only realising my mistake when I began assembling the second leg. With this in mind, I’d be interested in seeing how the leg construction…[Read more]
The detail is from the Dwadge kit. I cut it out, thinned it down using sandpaper and cut it down the middle and attached it to the Rick Dom skirt with some putty to fill in the gaps and smooth the edges.
The MS-06V is painted and fully assembled (glued together) although the arms, shields and head are detachable due to the balljoints I added to those sections. I decided to…
The large tanks are kept in place with the help of some Milliput. The tank tracks have been added although despite the detail added to the wheels, nobody will see them as they’re pretty much covered by the sides.
The shields are now connected to the shoulder, the HiZack head has been modified to resemble a Zaku with Kotobukiya square mold used to cover the sides. The exhaust section…
The Shields from the MS-06V kit were particularly thin, and in order to use a balljoint I had to file the polycap down a bit, then apply milliput to hold it in place and…
The left shoulder has been filed back to a squarish and the upper arms are attached. The shields still need to be attached to the shoulders and the HiZack head needs to look more like a Zaku head.
In order to connect the shoulders of the FG Zaku II to the upper arm section of the Zaku Tank I decided to use a Balljoint polycap. The balljoint was made by placing Milliput…
I cut both torsos in half and sandwiched them together with Milliput. The upper chest section was cut away due to the difference in angle between the two kits which left a gaping hole in the middle that was hard to fill.
Hi. I will be putting together the MS-06V Zaku Tank which is quite old, so as I did with the GM Sniper Custom and Dwadge Reformation, I’ll be cutting it up and gluing it to a…
I’ve spent much of the past month putting together this Dwadge Reformation using the old Gundam ZZ kit and the HGUC Dom/Rick Dom with plenty if Milliput for the head and the Earth Federation Beam Rifle that I extended as it looked far too short.

I applied some yellow waterside to the shoulder area, but they don’t really stand out that much. I don’t remember whether I experienced this problem with the Real Type Zaku, but the numbers were considerably larger and recognisable compared to the tiny warnings.
