Well fellas, tomorrow is October 1st, and it will be the day my Wing Proto Zero will ship out. Man im excited, this is the piece de resistance ive been waitng all September for! View
Just started building the OVA version a day ago (gonna take a few months I guess)…. How did you do the sleeves if you don’t mind me asking, they look great!!!
That sleeves had made me crazy. I tried to apply reverse wash but not good to me, then do masking & paint it but not so pretty either. Lastly i go direct handpaint suprisingly its look better!
If you hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have noticed there is something off…. Was it a post-shading job?
If that was the case, a little tip for the next time, first do the darker tone for the edges and then fill in the large surfaces with the lighter tone. Did that same technique as you did on a Zaku once, my ldumb luck was that the colour lended…[Read more]
@Daverb _ You’re absolutely right. In my early days of building gunpla i do like the kit with the clean looks but now not much. Post shading is much better than nothing it should make your kit more realistic even it’s not painted.
As a teetee580 first said he do a dark tone like grey along the edges & give a fill light shade of white on large surfaces. For more tips & tutorial please checkout in youtube, you can always find a many great videos from the pro.
200 episodes of Plamo goodness . You have parted me from many of my hard earned British pounds and I have enjoyed every one of them. Keep up the outstanding work as ambassadors for the hobby. Looking forward to many more episodes to come.
Nice episodes as always guys. Cant wait what in store for episodes 200. Btw could you suggest any remedy for #CantDoAnyMoreGunpla sickness. Its been a while me doing any gunpla. My backlog is piling up and unfinished model kits becoming more common. Is it because of boring of gunpla? I try to do other model kits like star wars kits but trying to…[Read more]
Hi all I really wasn’t to where else to post this on here, what I’m wondering is does anyone at all who is a member on this site possibly have a built PG Strike Rouge that they would be willing to part with for a reasonable price ?

Looks like lots of PGs are getting restocked by Bandai on the 24th (including the Strike Rouge), so if there’s one site you’re looking at getting it from then they may be getting some more soon. http://bandai-hobby.net/site/schedule_images/nouhin.pdf
Since our beloved site is down, I’ve got a question for you people: MG Gundam Origin Ver. or RG Gundam? Looking for the more fun build, more poseability, etc.
I would go with the MG Gundam Origin Ver.. Though, that’s only because I have a bias towards both MG’s and the design of the RX-78-02 Gundam from Gundam: The Origin.
Why RG? Why not MG RX-78-2 ver.3? Its mor fun than the RG, it’s bigger therefore it is more fun and durable to do many poses. As for MG Origin, don’t like it, overall design is just too plain for me, yes it has lots off gimmick weapons, but doesn’t work for me.
The 3.0 beats the origin version, eh? I only looked at the 3.0 briefly. They seem to be the same price, so maybe I’ll go for that instead. Is there a waterslide decal set for it?
Apart from backpack cannon, silly shoulder gatling gun, 3.0 beats the origin all the way to the bone. It has more armor detail, inner frame detail, articulation and the most critical of all, it has Core Fighter which is make it a Gundam. Nope, no water slide decal, both of them.
Don’t know really. I talked to Thwalker13 on Skype earlier, but he doesn’t seem to know. Normally when a blackout happens on our site, it’s up the site owners (in this case McGundam and GSaM) to hire someone to fix the problem. We used to have our own on-site technician, but he left a few years ago. So anyone know somebody who’s good at…[Read more]
Hi Syd and Ryan, just my simple thought. Although you’re not going to sell any of the star wars kits from Bandai I’m still interested in knowing what the latest kits are like. Even tho it broke my heart when Bandai dont permit hlj to sell it in ur online international shop. Still a review wont be as bad eh?
