That really sucks dude. You must have put in a lot of effort and time into your entry. I had to strip down my entry as it did not come out that way that I wanted. Put me back at least a month behind in the build. Now I’m running into other problems. but I will get there. Hope you decide to keep going and have one final shot at the comp.
I lost a small part on my entry too. I ended up making a mold from epoxy putty and one out of styrene. I opted to go with the styrene part as it was a little more stronger and could be bent a little more.
WIP post #5 Started building the frame for my MG HI-Nu as I’m pretty frustrated with the main project so far. I had to redo about 2 months work by stripping most of my armor parts back to bare plastic because they looked very amateur, and the fear of getting laughed at if I submitted the model as it was.
I really like the colour of the inner frame and keep up with the work, don’t worry about people laughing at your work, so far the community has been really friendly
