being as this is less drama and more action/fun series. I can live with plot holes. after all some of the best series I can think of are full of them. Looking t you GITS, Original macross.
Oh i’m sure they will do something with it, but still loving the show. I do love the war/conflict drama gundam is, but still adore these little jaunts to other ideas.
it’s really solidly designed. as I said in the link, I’m shocked how far HG’s have came. my last batch were Gwing era & while fun, turned me off 1/144’s. articulation was SO basic & the kits were so simple after first couple, manuals became redundent. But BSyrike is solid design mechanically & athstetically. I can get him into any pose my RG…[Read more]

Hobby Japan oct issue with Calavich & astray add on kit.
Still thinking of what i’m gonna do to the strike. prolly review him on my blog then customize him.
He didnt use Tamiya silver. he used testor silver. and i dissagree with your statment. i did a candy coated Marasai in red and blue using Tamayia silver leaf and it came out amazing. especially if you use a gloss black enamel then, the silver, then the clear color
Oh I can accept that. I’ll miss the gorgious frames, & see it as now 1 less reason so spend my money (not a obsessised MS fanboy. I pick kits based on visual & technical aspects).
IE I bought the RG GP01 never having Seen 0083:SM (just now getting to see it) I just liked the design.
& I can deal with a non detailed frame. I love the technical…[Read more]
Is it too much to ask that a kit as massive and expensive as the new Sazabi have not only an LED monoeye, but also highly detailed inner and outer frames and a removable escape pod?
I can visualize how they could do it too, for the record.
Sounds like the eventual PG version of it that we’ll probably get a few years from now. Or limited edition exclusive MG version released a few years from now.
actually it’s the core blocks that drive me nuts. i always try to include some light up function in my non 144s. and honestly. bandai could give me wires, the led and a place for a C032 button in the structure and not have to carve out a huge gapping hole.
i realise bandai wanted 1 standardized design they could market and design around. but for…[Read more]
In any case, I think the RGs and the Gundam 3.0 are a sign that Bandai is moving away from the detailed inner frames that we’ve all become accustomed to in favor of detailed outer armor.

True. For me, this is the first Gundam show that has tried to be funny. I spent all thte show laughing. Especially at the Zeon cafe bit.
I’m just glad i can take a break from the military and serious story line for a bit. I can only take so much of that.
