Well, that means that the carrier in the paint is indeed solvent based and the pigment is alcohol based acrylic. This means you’ll have to treat it as a lacquer paint, so please use the technique previously mentioned.
Don’t know for sure how long one can will last you, but back in the old day when I used spray cans myself, I used…[Read more]

Hi!
i have a question about paint and top coat.
Im painting and detailing with acrylic paint and doing the decals and the question is would Tamiya TS-80 ruin the paint job?
Since it’s laquer based?
Still haven’t smelled it myself, so I can’t say for sure it is. Some say it is, others say it’s a solvent based acrylic, which still is a lacquer to me…, even others state it’s a alcohol based acrylic….
In any case, to be on the safe side, if it’s a sticker or a dry transfer decal, there will be no issues. If it’s a water slide, make sure all…[Read more]

About the upcoming MG Exia Dark Matter, do you think they’ve fixed the ankles on it? Pics shows that it’s the same ankle as the regular Exia. I might be wrong though but one can always hope.:) And also the P-Bandai exclusive MG Grey Zeta would that be based of xeta 2.0?
I love this exia 🙂 Took the legs from MG Qan[t] so it’s kind of like a custom, maybe hehe..weapons are painted with gun metal and that’s about it. Put some sticker and did…
Doooo eeet! 🙂 i think it would look awesome 🙂 you should tighten the joint between the waist and the torso since having the raiser on it’s back is going to make him lean backwards 😛 and also i think i fell in love with exia and qan[t] legs..can’t stop looking at it 😛
Gonna paint the grey part beneath the white one with gun metal. Also took 00 qan[t] legs and swapped with exia’s. I think it looks awesome + better articulation. No ankle problems 🙂 Other than that the exia is almost done 🙂
