Gunpla TV – Landscape Customize Scene Base

A new release in the Customize Scene Base lineup is here. To recap, Customize Scene Bases let you display your mech models like a simple diorama.

This version, Landscape, is made to resemble a city landscape. It comes in three unpainted diamond-shaped parts that you can arrange to your liking, and includes several more attachable parts that allow you to fully customize your setup.

As a bonus, we’re also looking at adding some items from Geocraper, which are also miniature city scenes and work well with these Scene Bases!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Great display options here! Love how you can mix and match the different pieces, with battle-damaged ones? That’s just awesome, the Geocrapers add a nice touch of colour and more variation to the scene bases too, awesome stuff!

  2. I thought the same thing about the scale. But I think the idea they’re trying to evoke is the kit on the base flying at a very high altitude. Then again, the idea of an insanely massive gundam is also fun.

  6. It took Bandai long enough, but it appears like Bandai is finally getting more into dioramas, and for competitive model kit builders this will be very useful. Being that they’re a mix-and-match style, I presume people will be buying these in bulk. I presume Bandai plan to make multiple variations of these city style display bases?
