Gundam/Gunpla Ace HG Weapon Sets

Along with the release of their latest, greatest HG line which they have called Revive Bandai has released a couple of weapon sets in collaboration with two Gundam manga. The Gundam Ace September 2015 issue comes with ‘Beam Javelin and Original Weapon’ while Gunpla Ace comes with ‘Gundam Hammer and Original Weapon’. Let’s break down what is in these two sets with the help of our newest best friend the HGUC Revive RX-78-2 Gundam.

First up, Gunpla Ace with New HG Gundam Weapon Parts (Hammer & Original Weapon)

And, Gundam Ace September 2015 with New HG Gundam Weapon Parts (Beam Javelin & Original Weapon)

They do look very similar.

So let’s break down (and then build up) both! Go!

Allow me to introduce…

…my weapons sets!

The ‘Original Weapon’ we see in both sets are these two barreled weapons which can fit together and go under a shield or mount to a backpack piece and go on the back of the Revive RX-78-2.

Sun’s out. Guns out.

Also in both sets you have a rifle and an under-barrel mounted launcher.

If you don’t mount those two large weapons underneath the shield you can attach this separate piece and plug Beam Sabre blades in there instead.

With the Javelin you can pierce your enemy’s heart.

Or just club him over the head.

With the Gundam Hammer you can club him into submission.

Or just swing it around menacingly.

I like to do both. Usually at the same time.
