Ok folks, need some opinions on color scheme. I got the amazing MG Sazabi Ver Ka last week and i have been holding back on the build until i figured out a color scheme for it. Im not a huge fan of red, so i wanted to do something different. I took a peek around the net and didn’t find many builds of this kit with an alternate color scheme, though the ones i did find gave me faith that an alternate color can look great. I picked up some paints and im thinking that this is the scheme that i want to use.
The lightest red is changed to a dull olive green (bottom right), the medium red is changed to the dark forest green (bottom left), and the dark red is changed to a deep plum (top). The colors are still wet and i will be using a grey prime to darken these up a bit. These are all acrylic flat finish and will be hand painted.
I plan on changing the yellow to a metallic rose gold, but i need to experiment to get the rose effect im looking for. Also the “shiny” silver will be painted a metallic silver, and i’ll also use this for some accent work on the inner frame.
This is the direction im planning on going so please anyone and everyone drop me some criticisms, ideas, recommendations, tips, or threats of bodily harm soon before i start on this kit. Thnx folks
