So, I checked in with Ryan, and painting the inner frame, and some of the outer armor is considered intermediate. Just a warning to the rest of you builders. 🙂

    • Wow, that’s a pretty low standard for intermediate xP I guess I’ll have to bump mine up. Thanks for checking!

      • No problem! To be honest, if your EX-S stayed in the Beginners, it would have kicked all of our butts, haha.

        • Haha Well I guess I can’t call myself a noob anymore! That’s quite a compliment in itself really 😛 For future reference the one I built was the S-Gundam the Ex-S is the upgraded version.

    • Haha yea, I think people had a different interpretation of the rules. They said in the video it’s basically out of the box, slap on a few decals and panel lines and that’s it. Glad to get some things cleared up.

    • Does this mean we should start re-posting on the intermediate group or just summit our model as intermediate at the end? They also said if they felt that the participant should be in another category they would take care of it so yeah?

      • Don’t be moving stuff around, we’ll decide when we judge if it belongs in another category.

      • As far i can understand i see that you join the group you think you belong, if we are going to talk that if you paint 2 arm now you are intermediate, but you think you dont belong there, you can stay here, people join each group cuz they think they belong there, if at the end you submit your work and you get level up or not, you will never know, you wont get and email saying “your work is for expert we level you up thanks”, so even if you move, stay or by mistake you entered the wrong category at the end they will choose we you belong, but as i said, you join the group that you think is your level. And at then end many participate, just a few wins, and i see this contest like a way of showing to the other how each of us work (basically we talk of technich or just show the models).

    • Don’t start moving your stuff around, keep in mind with your final submission there will be 5 judges and we will determine which category your work should be in if we feel you placed it in the wrong place to begin with.
