Gundam breaker that is. Me on PS3, him on Vita.

    • We’ll dang! I’d have bought that months ago if I had known that, I read in a review it didn’t, been wanting for a good vita game since killzone got old

      • To be fair, I think it was added as part of a system update. But yeah, I play on my PS3, he plays on his Vita in the same room, and my best bud plays with us over the internet. On the Vita version, you just look for the multiplayer option with “Wi-Fi” buried in the kanji.

        • Alright, I’ll have to hit you up whenever I get it, will probably be a good month from now + I have a huge model order coming up(sons birthday and kits to keep me till I finish car work) and buying a head gasket for my car 300$ out the window >< atleast my dad said he would buy the new head if it's cracked. I'm not happy right now to say the least…

I feel your pain. The weather here has been much the same, and I’ve been forced to keep an eye on my basement in case it floods as a result.

By far the prettiest Astray that I’ve ever seen.

    • Yeah that looks outright sick, way better than my second master grade!

      • This was tons of fun & now I get to work on my 1st ever Diorama :p

I didn’t expect to learn much from this hobby but I definitely am learning a ton!

I’m really happy though with how this came out. Like taking the time to work on it gives me such a big sense of accomplishment & specially looking at what the kit looks like OOB…[Read more]

    • Thanks a ton man, that means alot & definitely appreciated 😀

I use one to take all of my Gunpla pics, although between my meager photography skills and Gundam Forum’s size constrictions it may not be obvious, 😉

    • Yea, I’m a Nikon man though lol. Back then I was into photography and slowly reverted back to Micro 4/3s (Got myself a Nex5N & Fuji X100, both of which are phenomenal.) but for the time being I’m gonna be using my wifes A200 LOL

      • Nothing wrong with a good Nikon. Although no one could ever pry my Canon products away from me.

        • If I had a canon rebel or better I would probably punch someone for so much as looking at it wrong. Not being able to afford a dslr is why I’ve yet to buy a camera. + if I had that kind of money I’d be buying a shell to build a drift missile lmao

          • I got mine years ago, but I did a quick look on best buy’s website, the cheapest is like $500. Not cheap, but Gunpla (at least at the Master/Perfect Grade level) isn’t exactly a cheap either. As a consolation prize, if you have an iPhone 5S or the top end Nokia, their cameras are both supposed to be pretty close to low end DSLRs.

            • I’ve been pretty impressed with my iPhone 4S camera so far, it’s what I take all my pictures with it’s an 8 mp camera iirc and it does okay. As said above at 500$ Cash in my pocket my because race car blood could never live down not buying a shell to work on lol already have a bunch of parts piling up for it

              • I have an old 4S. Its camera is pretty good compared to point and clicks. The 5S’s is even better.

                • Makes me wonder what all will be going on with the iPhone 6 I remember when owning a razor was cool lol pixelated pics and txting with number keys

                  • I used a Palm back then. I even had a camera that plugged into the thing’s damn SD slot. Also had a Symbian, although the Palm was much better. The original iPhone though, that was the turning point. People really don’t understand/remember just how innovative and revolutionary it was. I loved my Palm back in the day, but I wouldn’t give it a…[Read more]

Looks good. As far as cameras go, no a mount of praise for Canon’s DSLRs is enough.

    • Zeta speaks truth on that one too bad they are excessively pricey. Good job though I’m waiting for more up close pics.

    • Ah I figured it was some kind of gundam game, I personally want breaker as it is on vita but no online play in the vita killed it for me. Guess if I ever buy a ps3 I’ll get it though

Honestly I like having the Hobbylink group as our backup. Everyone knows it and it’s a different format, so in the event of a malicious hacker like last time, he can’t use the same bugs to hack the back up.

That’s the downside to dry transfers. Once they’re placed, they’re not going anywhere. As far as the markers go, the grey lining marker is usually used for white parts, but some people prefer the less subtle, higher contrast look of black panel lining on white parts. But as a general rule, ultra fine brown is for red, ultra fine grey is for white,…[Read more]

Forgot to mention the obvious: a brown lining marker is what you want for lining the red parts.

  • Zeta-G posted a new activity comment 10 years, 3 months ago

The red real touch is what you want for lining the orange parts. As for the top coat, it’s mostly for aesthetics if you’re not going to be painting the kit. Dry transfer decals tend to stay on pretty well, but, if you’re concerned about them accidentally getting scraped off, you can use a top coat to protect them. Water slides are crap, so use a…[Read more]

    • Thanks for the tips. I’ve also read that dark gray markers should be used for the white parts, such as the legs. Is that correct? Also, this might be unrelated, but do you know of any way to remove dry decals? I’ve put one in the wrong spot by accident.

Sunrise recently registered a pair of Gundam related URLs according to ANN: g-reco.net and Gundam-San.net.

G-Reko has been the WIP name of an in development Tomino helmed project for the last couple of years and Gundam-San is apparently a long running gag comic. With a Gundam unveiling already scheduled for the end of March, the timing is…[Read more]
