@syd I am wondering what time are you planning to do the Live Stream build of the RG Sinanju? I always miss live streams because I am in North America and it is just a weird time for me. View
I agree with you there bro. I might not be as old as you, but I have see enough Gundams/shows/movies to concluded that Build Diver is just a mess. My primary issue is with the characters and narrative since it doesn’t feel organic. There is almost no growth with the main cast and the plot is weak at best. In life, when a group of people meet to…[Read more]
It has been a while since I have watched Hobbylink.tv and I am still impressed by the quality of the videos and the new layout of the website. Anyways, I definitely would enjoy a live build of the RG Sazabi! Speaking of which, have you noticed that Bandai released the RG Sinanju on August 2016 and the RG Unicorn on August 2017. I have a feeling…[Read more]
After twelve years, our beloved Sergeant Serious is back in action. I have always loved the design of the M9s and the Arbalest, since it has a real military vibe to them. Bandai has really outdone themselves this time and I can’t wait for the showcase/review next week.
Sorry to hear that. I am originally from cowtown, AB and all my buds are done with the white stuff. Mind you Vancouver Island has been getting a lot of rain lately. It is called the BC blues. When can we get normal weather?

I live in Canada Todd so I got one question for you, “do you want to build a snowman?” Of course not, you’re a Gunpla guy. Actually the west coast is mostly green; no lick of snow on the ground where I am.
It’s sad to see Ryan leave, but all the best to him and his future career. Salute.
Personally, I am still on the fence with these Pacific Rim kits. I really like the amount of detailing, panel lining and weathering opportunities these kits present; however, I still have my backlog of around 14ish new kits. Ah the dilemma of a hobbyist.
I am hoping Bandai will release a 1/144 HGUC version of the Guncannon detector in the future;either next year or sometime in the future. They have done it to the Efreet so there is a high possibility they will.
I have recently watched the Build Diver prologue episode and I really like how Bandai is starting to include the MSs from more recent series. I am hoping this can be a chance for lesser know MS to make the spotlight. What are your thought?
It has been 12 years since the last Full Metal Panic(FMP)season and roughly 20 years for Gundam Wing in North America. During that time, I have grown and learned new skills, thus evolving into the man I am now. It was my love of Gundam which propelled me to become an Engineer and the accurate portray of military structure in FMP which led me into…[Read more]
Thank you Todd for all your hard work on building and reviewing the PG Exia! My brother just recently brought the PG Exia [Lighting Mode]and he got so hyped after seeing this episode. He is literally counting down the days when his kit will arrive in the mail. Now if he got that Setsuna Bust, it would be the best x-mas ever, jk. Merry X-mas and…[Read more]
Something “Big” eh, I definitely have no idea what it could be Todd? Side note to Todd, Full Metal Panic (FMP)definitely a show that you need to see at least once. If I was living in Japan, I would let you borrow my copy of FMP and its spin-offs. But don’t worry, FMP Season 4 “Invisible Victory” comes out next year (fingers crossed).
I am really digging the vibe the Cherudim Saga is giving. It’s like the designers asked the MS:
Designer: “What do you need?”
Cherudim:”Guns, Lots of Guns.”
Great show guys! Personally, I always thought the Double Zeta always was a weird design because it felt like the MS couldn’t decide if it was a Gundam or a weird space fighter. However, looks like Bandai sold me on this kit and I might be picking one up. ASIDE: Todd’s Grandma is actually a world champion of Spades. She just doesn’t let him know.
Yamato, Frame Girls, what’s next on HLJ TV? Stay tune to find out! Great work on the episode BTW. The one thing I always like about the Vidar was it had those pistol stored in its front skirt. It looks really gangster to me.
Great long episode guys, great for listen while working on my entry. Todd, GM ground type’s abs joint was used on the HGUC RX 78-2 revive. Helmwige Reincar reminds me a bit of reinhardt from overwatch. It just need to replace that sword with a hammer. Hammer Down!
Mr Mark Softer & Setter are actually quite common u should be able to find them pretty much easy in most hobby shop. I’ve never tried Tamiya Mark Fit but it should do the job well.
