It has been 12 years since the last Full Metal Panic(FMP)season and roughly 20 years for Gundam Wing in North America. During that time, I have grown and learned new skills, thus evolving into the man I am now. It was my love of Gundam which propelled me to become an Engineer and the accurate portray of military structure in FMP which led me into the Navy. Maybe in the future, I will design and/or pilot these mechs, but until then I can keep on dreaming.

Something “Big” eh, I definitely have no idea what it could be Todd? Side note to Todd, Full Metal Panic (FMP)definitely a show that you need to see at least once. Great show guys! Personally, I always thought the Double Zeta always was a weird design because it felt like the MS couldn’t decide if it was a Gundam or a weird space fighter. • Question for this community:
Does anyone know a good way of keeping decals on the kit without using “Top Coat” or “Paint”? Currently, I am using a bit of sticky glue to keep those buggers on and it seems to be working.

    • I often use RG decals, they stay on pretty well, they just need to be applied on a relatively flat and clean surface. Glue works fine but the places around the decals often have excess glue that need sanding.

    • I know some people use Mr. Mark Setter with good results, i haven’t used it personally though.

      • Mr Mark Setter is used to make sure that decals stick on. However, if ur decals won’t stick because of a not flat surface it’s highly recommended that u use mr mark softer/tamiya mark fit as it helps decals melts so that it can conform to the surface it’s sticked on. I’ve personally never heard of issue with decals that won’t stick to flat surfaces, but I’ve heard a couple times that decals will hardly stick on non flat surfaces without mr mark softer/tamiya mark fit. Hope that helps.

Done snapping up this guy for today. Seam line removal & nub marks removal will be done tomorrow and probably a few hand painting (maybe the hair and some smaller details). Most of the painting will probably be done after chinese new year bcs I currently don\'t have all of the paint needed with me.

Here\'s a story about Lieutenant Crank Zent. One day he stumbled upon a crotch Gundam frame piece of his superior\'s MS, Major Baduin\'s Kimaris. In need of power, he used the frame parts to allow the missile launcher to be mounted on the Graze\'s shoulder. Now Lieutenant Crank\'s Graze charges into battles to uphold Gjallarhorn\'s justice, the Stark Jegan\'s way.

Sorry for the late reply as I was busy working out at the gym. My ReZEL is done for the most part. I just need to to some touch up work on it since some of the decal are peeling off. I am actually catching up on building some new kits which came in from HLJ.

Anyone got any tips to remove/cover up these flashes and molding lines other than painting?
    View

Actually you can find this problem on any kits if you look hard enough, but it’s more common with large solid pieces with little surface sculpting, huge rounded pieces or older kits. This is due to injection technology, placement of the part on the runners, and/or the size of the gates.

I actually have this kit and ran into the same problem as Tatsuo.

I have built this kit before and here are some problems I encountered:
1: The connection from the waist to the hip is not as firm as the other RG kits.
2: Like Seanzilla said, be careful of the gold plated parts, but also the glossy red parts too. You will see when you do the arms.
3: The slot connection for the backpack to the body it is not a very firm. Try to not force it in since it could break the connection.
4: Make sure to really break in the RG Frame parts, especially for this kit.

    I hope this helps.
