I’d like to know if anyone might have a spare commander antenna for the RG Zaku2 Char Aznable Custom (F1-20).
When I got to the point of building the head I saw that the part was missing on the runner. >< It might have dropped by some manner but I couldn't find it anywhere. T_T
So before going to Genteikits.com and pay the high price for an entire runner I thought to myself that it would be a good idea to ask first here for help.

What you could do is (if you’re willing to paint) get the RG zaku II mass production type and use the antenna that comes with it. The mass production type has two different types of antennae as well as a plain head with no slot for an antenna.
The RG zaku ii is amazing in my opinion, so it wouldn’t be too bad to have 2 of them :D.

I was planning to get the mass production one next. But the problem would be to get the exact pink to paint it. Since I don’t have an airbrush it won’t give a good result I think.
A regular HG Char’s Zaku antenna might work for you. If you don’t want the whle kit you can just pass it along as a gift or just ebay it. Check with http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/gundam/ to see the runner photos and instrucion manuals so you can compare if they’ll fit without too much fiddling.
The colour for the HGUC Char’s Zaku II is quite different from the RG, as the RG has mostly a lightish pink as apposed to the almost red pink on the HGUC, so it would look a bit out of place. The antennae on the HG looks like a different base-shape from the RG so it probably won’t fit without some serious modding unfortunately 🙁
Another option is if it was bought from HLJ on the past 10 days, you could ask the parts department if they could send a replacement. However they may not accept just misplacing a piece 🙁
I reckon that the best choice would be to just get it from Gentai Kits, as Char’s Zaku II just isn’t 3 times cooler than the other Zakus without his commander antenna 😛
And that antenna makes it three times faster too! Your point is very valid. As it appears, your kung fu is strong. 🙂 Too bad HLJ diesn’t offer parts like they used to. It would make things a lot easier for people in need of them or just people wanting to kit bash without destroying another kit in the process.
Ok I think I’ll use the GK parts service for this one. 😛
